I really like this story! And it seems the twins will really have incestuous relationship! If I must say, the only thing that doesn't sit right with me is that the brothers' parents left for Africa to fulfill their dream leaving 4 underage kids to their own devices! When such irresponsible parents left the eldest bro was barely 11 and had to look after his three younger bros! That's crazy! 1 Volume (Hiatus) - I marked it only now, but it has been many years that I was waiting for some kind of update. Sadly, it really seems doomed to remain incomplete... > Someone said the author died...is that true? It would be really helpful to have some news about this :( unfortunately on Baka-Updates it only says that this series is on hiatus > Raw: 77mh.com / colist_144412.html
Boku Wo Tsutsumu Tsuki No Hikari
Continuation of PSME. A second-generation series. Alice (now 32 y.o.) and Rin (now 23 y.o.) are married and they have a son, Ren (7 y.o.), who is an elementary school student. Alice got pregnant when she was 24 and Rin was 15. They got married when Rin was 18. Ren's friend Kachiko is Mikuro's daughter. In vol. 8 ch. 38, Alice finds out she's pregnant with their second child, a daughter. > Unfortunately, I didn't love it as much as I thought I would! First of all, I must say that I resented the change in art style. I mean, the new art style is not that bad per se, but I didn't like it much and it's just that it's a bit too different from the old one from the prequel and I couldn't get used to it, like the characters didn't feel like them anymore, you know, and I simply missed so much the old art which I loved. Well, it's understandable that after many years there would be changes in the style, so it's ok, but it still didn't feel right (and just why, Shion didn't even have his sexy mole anymore!!). Anyway, the story is not entirely bad, I generally liked it, let's say. But I think it wasn't nearly as good, interesting and emotional as PSME. Actually, it totally pales in comparison! In fact, it didn't get me hooked like the prequel did. While it was funny, heart-warming and pleasant to read, it was also boring for me. Also, it was kinda episodic at first, then it continued on in a direction, but it didn't have an intriguing continuous storyline like the prequel. I actually read it quicky without comtemplating much, because I found myself not being much invested. There weren't any wow moments or plot twists and there really wasn't even a good climax...it was all kinda flat. When I finished all the chapters, I thought "oh, it ended", "is that it?", like it left me kinda unsatisfied. I mean, the ending itself was very nice, but maybe I expected another kind of sequel alltogether. Having said that, it's not a bad story! It's good to read it once. It's just that it's disappointing as a sequel. Hotman
// Complete // - 15 Volumes (Complete). Such a funny reading! And it also had its share of touching dramatic moments. All in all, a great family story! It was so entertaining and heart-warming. The romance component was great as well, although it wasn't the focus. And I also really like the art style. Anyway, it's truly such a pleasant reading! Just a little time to get things started and warming up that it really grows on you, especially because the characters were so amusing and lovely. Hotman in its simplicity and genuineness is really a masterpiece! (Btw, it's such a pity that there isn't an anime adaptation for this! I really wish there was!) > At least here the pages aren't cut at the bottom: mangakakalot.so / comic / hotman Adapted to Live-action: • Hotman (2003) • Hotman '04 Spring Special (2004) • Hotman 2 (2004) Side Story: Hotman 2003 (not scanlated) Spin-off: Chinatsu no Uta - Enzo appears in a few scenes as a teacher at the elementary school the protagonists of the story, Chinatsu and Fuyuki, go to. Towards the end, Nanami appears as well, saying to Chinatsu she had transferred to that school before her to recuperate better in a place with clean air. So the story is set a few years after the events of Hotman. At some point, maybe when Nanami's condition got better, Enzo and Nanami probably transferred back to their homeplace, where we see them in fact at the very end of Hotman, after the 10 years time skip.
Papa to Oyaji no Uchi Gohan
It really has the potential to have some great BL undertones! Hope the author included some - 13 Volumes (Complete) Side Story: Papa to Oyaji no Uchi Nomi (not scanlated)
