I was really loving this BL, especially how it began, but like many people I was also taken aback by ch. 5! That intercourse was bad...I mean, it started out well and I liked that it's a cross-dressing seme, but doing it just like that without preparation totally ruined that part, especially with the uke being a virgin and all, and also wtf is with the seme being turned on at the thought that it was like a hospital room with his sister watching...that totally killed the mood! So in the end, I gave it 3 stars for now.

Great story by Kurimoto Kaoru! Interesting plot and setting, embellished by Igarashi Yumiko's beautiful art, which was perfect for this historical-fantasy manga! It's a pity though that the ending was a bit unsatisfying, because it didn't give a proper conclusion / resolution to the story. By ending just like that, one wants to know what happened after. Instead, it's left to us to imagine what became of them. I wish it had a different, better ending, but I still loved the story! Anyways, being a fantasy tale, that kind of ending is actually not that unusual... > Note: It's not GL! Erminia, the "princess", clearly says that their heart was misplaced in the body of a woman and that they would prefer to take a bride instead of a husband, and to be looked upon as a man by the people. The story shares the same universe as "Guin Saga". Both stories are set in the Kingdom of Paros.

But I needed more! They felt like drafts! And they felt more like bromance|BL subtext. Apart from the lack of a kiss scene, even in the substance, it really felt like something was missing at the end, like that was only the beginning! They were nice but not fully developed, both in plot and feelings, because the characters didn't express properly their not-so-clear-yet feelings and the stories lacked a proper closure. The characters' relationships didn't really start...the stories ended just like that, leaving an unresolved feel. Their feelings were still in the initial|forming stage, in the budding phase, and they still had to be matured and then pursued.
