Almost Paradise
(()) Collection of three stories: • Ch. 1 (1.1,1.2,1.3), 4.5 Almost Paradise - Art Teacher x Middle-school Student (in Hokkaido) // Reunion after 10 years when the student is an adult too (in Tokyo) // Older Uke // Glasses-Wearing Uke • Ch. 2 Café Winterreise - Set in Germany (Berlin) // Cafè Owner // Half-Japanese Half-German x Japanese // Gay Uke x Gay Seme // Finding Love Again • Ch. 3-4 Gold, Ash, Dark Green / Looking at the Night Sky while Waiting - Historical Fantasy // Supernatural // Village // European Ambience // Long-Haired Seme // Cute Uke // Mage / Doctor x Wolf turned into human / later he'll be the Mage's Apprentice (The young wolf fell into a bear-trap and even his brother couldn't release him from it. Since it happened on a full-moon night, luckily through magic he could be turned into human by the pack's leader in order to escape from the trap. Then the brother was told to find the village's mage and seek his help for the wounded boy). > I think the title story is a "student x teacher" gem! I really liked it and it's without a doubt my favourite in this collection, but the other two stories were good too! In particular, for the second story I'd have liked to read a continuation (and I'd have liked to see them getting intimate)! And the third one is a kind of story I love, so I really liked it as well!

Emma
A really nice story! Such a pleasant reading! I enjoyed both anime and manga. For those like me who like historical stories and, you know, to watch period drama and such, in particular a victorian-era romance like this, I totally recommend it! Personally, I really liked the whole atmosphere / setting of the story and the cast of characters! And, above all, I really appreciated the author's care for details: one can see the efforts she put into research! > Note: Vol. 8-10 are "Emma: Further Tales". They fill in details from the manga, both before and after the events in that storyline. Adapted to Anime

A well-done tragic classic!
Ashita no Nadja
I have to say that I actually prefer the manga version for many aspects, especially the fact that it's more concise, without all the extra / unnecessary stuff. However, in the end I'd still choose the anime version for that one aspect that is the biggest difference between anime and manga and that is the one regarding Francis and the Black Rose and their interactions with Nadja! [SPOILER] In the manga, Francis and the Black Rose are the same person. In the anime, the Black Rose is actually Francis' older twin brother Keith! So, in the manga Keith doesn't exist! Even though we recognize some of his traits and actions in Francis, including almost all of his encounters with Nadja, for me the Black Rose will always be Keith! I loved him and I enjoyed all his interactions with Nadja, so I really have to choose the anime!
