3 Chapters (Complete) - The last chapters are available in Italian: http://qmanga.com/batoto-it/307020 "Would you be mine?" ═══ 16-year-old Asakawa Tomoki, being a bishoujo all his life despite being male, has finally received the ultimate confession...from a vampire. ═══ "We vampires are bound by the pact of blood to a single human being for the rest of our lives" - Wah, I liked this! [May spoil] Well, it seems this story is complete with 3 ch. only. Some things actually remained unresolved...for example, about the guy that Motoki met in the library, who probably was the one manipulating the phantom-assassin. Also, the fact that Tomoki himself said he hasn't decided yet if he'll be Yoshida's blood-bound partner...I mean, we all know that's what will happen eventually, but I wanted a more explicite conclusion! And I hoped there'd be a partner also for the wolf spirit Vincent (he was so sexy in human form with animal ears and tail!). So, I think it needed more development, because it had the premises to be a better story! Anyway, it was cute and funny. I really liked it. Tomoki and Yoshida were so cute together (。^‿^✿) Even if there wasn't even a kiss, I think it was sexy when Yoshida licked Tomoki's wound and sucked his blood! (≧∀≦)

Paradise View

Complete | kojima lalako | 2013 released

✿ IMO, the prequel "Kimi to Parade" was already really good, but this emotional sequel is truly a MASTERPIECE! It was so intense: reading this was like a journey full of emotions. I couldn't stop myself, I read it all at once! Sensei gave us a really sweet, fluffy prequel just to crush our hearts later with this sequel: it makes you wish those peaceful days in "Kimi to Parade" would last forever! From the first chapters of "Paradise View", sensei already made my heart ache with uneasy lines such as "I had always thought that our peaceful days would continue forever"/"The same sunset as always, the same road home. But for some reason I felt very lonely. At that time, I still didn't know the reason why. But now, I understand", which made me so anxious. But this story was kinda realistic, so I really appreciated it: I liked how sensei showed us the fluffy, cute side of BL, but also the more serious, realistic one, where things are not always easy and don't always go as one hoped for. Like in the case of Hideo and Tomohisa, who love each other so much, but as they approach the age of 30 they come face-to-face with a harsh reality. It was painful to see how they grew distant and didn't communicate properly. Hideo's traditional family who wanted him to marry surely had a huge part in his uncertainty, but he really was so indecicive and wavered till the end! Even his sister told him: "You probably don't have the same resolve as Akaboshi-san". So, there were times where I hated him and for a moment I even thought that it wouldn't be so bad if Tomohisa ended up with his coworker, Kuzumi. Nevertheless, I really can't help loving this couple! They made me worried, but I'm glad they were able to overcome their problems and reconnect, being stronger than before. It's such a beautiful story, but seriously sensei had to squeeze our hearts till the very end: the extra was so sad!! After all the pain they went through, even fate had to be cruel to them!! ( T ^ T )♡ Prequel: Kimi to Parade

Itadakimasu

Complete | yoshihara yuki | 2000 released

ו•× Well, "Older Female Younger Male" is one of my weaknesses, so I liked the story. Above all, I really liked Ouji-kun!! And the grandma was cool! TBH, I also liked the fact that Naeko ended up with her ex-husband's younger brother! However, I didn't like her, as I'm not into this kind of female character. Also, I usually enjoy reading more serious stories, where, for example, "Finding love again" is not so easy. So, it wasn't really up to my standards, because of my personal tastes, but overall I still liked it. Actually, most of sensei's works are light-hearted smut RomCom, so I think they are good to read when one wants something funny. In fact, "Itadakimasu" is hilarious! I laughed so hard when Ouji acted as a delinquent, when he cross-dressed or when he played the BL game! (*≧▽≦)ノシ)) BUT, at the same time, some parts were boring for me...

Hana o Meshimase

Complete | Iwashita Keiko | 2000 released

Flower shop owner (25) x Highschool girl (17), live-in employee at the flower shop. ≪•..•≫ "Both you and the flowers taught me about the beauty of love" - Actually, their encounter enriched both Shion and Shun: they learnt something from the other and helped each other. I really liked the characters and the pace of the story. The art style is really nice, beautiful I'd say, and it matches well with the atmosphere of this heartwarming story. I loved every little detail, especially about flower arrangement and the language of flowers / Hanakotoba. As I love flowers, I'm also fond of the thought that they carry feelings that can be conveyed without using words. >> The plant Shion / Aster tataricus means Remembrance: it's so sweet that Shion chose this plant to convey her true feelings to Shun~♡

Chiisai Hitsuji Wa Yume Wo Miru

Complete | iketani rikako | 2000 released

Collection of two stories: A Small Sheep Dreams (Ch 1.1-1.2) - Divorce // Stepfather x Stepdaughter // Age Gap // Family Drama // Cohabitation // Post-Secondary Student Spring Rain Diary (Ch 2.1-2.2) - Infidelity // Breakup // Friends Become Lovers // Boyfriend x Ex-girlfriend's friend // Young Female Lead // First Love // Puberty I liked both stories. They're unique and I found them interesting. At first they may seem "odd", but they are good and I feel I read something different. They have an original touch, indeed. The art style is unique as well.

Usagi Drop

Complete | Unita Yumi | 2005 released

Slice of Life // Childcare // Single Parent // Family // Cohabitation // Guardian Relationship // Age Gap // Smart & Strong Female Lead // Time Skip ו•× 79 y.o. grandpa had an illegitimate child!? - Daikichi (30): "So mom...that makes her your little sister then! Which makes her my aunt..." haha what a bizarre family circumstance! ➸ Heartwarming slice of life story about a man who decided to raise a little girl on his own. The core of the story is exactly about the hardships a single parent has to go through, raising a kid. The story highlights also other realistic issues about particular family circumstances, such as divorce, adoption, abandonment of a child, reencounter with birth mother etc. In particular, ch 1-24 (adapted into anime and live-action) are about Daikichi raising Rin, putting his life into it and making sacrifices for the little girl. Then after a 10 years time skip, the story takes a certain direction, which not everyone may welcome. Personally, I loved this story, because it's so sweet, especially at the beginning: little Rin was simply too cute! I liked it till the end. I was curious to see the development of their relationship. But at the same time, I'm not completely satisfied with the ending, as I wanted to see more about how their future will be. [Spoiler] It's not incest: Daikichi's gandpa adopted Rin, but he wasn't her father, so Rin and Daikichi aren't related by blood. Well, it may still be unconfortable if you think about the fact that Daikichi, after raising Rin as a daugther for 10 years, becomes the young girl's love interest...and also their huge age gap, but imo the story was pure and sweet till the very end (and actually there isn't even a little kiss)! Also, Daikichi was conflicted about it and said that he never thought about Rin in that way, so I don't think of him as a perv who raised a little girl just to think of her in a sexual way later! He isn't that kind of man! Of course, this is my opinion, but I think that if one takes it for what it is, a fictional story, overall it's good and nice to read.

Kimi ga Uso o Tsuita

Complete | YORITA Miyuki | 2009 released

Tags for myself: Accident, Illegitimate child, Adopted child, Orphan, Dead Family Members, Special Ability, Lie Detector, Lies, Long-Lost Siblings, False Incest, Princely Male Lead, Older Male Younger Female, Love Triangle, Cohabitation, Time Skip, Marriage After an accident in which she nearly dies, Saki wakes up to find that she has a new ability: she can see when people are lying, as they turn black to her eyes! She comes to realize that there are liars all around her... - Having special abilities may be a double-edged sword, as at times it may not be a very convenient power or may even be painful, but stories like this are always cool to read! As expected, I really liked this one! ➸ What Saki, who always hated liars because of her father, comes to realize in the end is like the moral of the story - "People lie...but behind those lies are various reasons. That's why we forgive...and move on. The truth is something that I will find on my own..." - and the author chose an interesting plot to develope the idea. The story results to be well-written. Well, it's only the ending that felt kinda rushed and there was also time skip, which I'm not a fan of, but overall it's a really good story.

Ai Hime Ai To Himegoto

3 Volumes (Complete) - Tags for myself: Absent Parents // Adopted Male Lead // Family // In Love with Family Member // Guardian Relationship // Uncle-Niece Relationship // False Incest // Age Gap // Older Male Younger Female // High-School Student // Cohabitation // Live-in Lover // Love at First Sight // Innocent & Naive Female Lead // Possessive & Protective Boyfriend // Marriage // Pregnancy "They met. They kissed. They parted without a word" - Well the beginning, precisely that encounter, surely was unrealistic, but dreamy I'd say. Anyway, the story is cute and sweet, so it's nice and enjoyable to read. I liked the couple and there were a few things that I enjoy, such as age gap, hot and cool male lead, cohabitation and guardian relationship. And of course I loved that cute cat, Hime~♡ At first it was kinda fast for me: at ch. 3 they were already a couple! But then I liked how Jin waited for Mao to be ready naturally. He was teasing and bullying her most of the time but he was also very doting, protective and possessive...I like this type of male lead. At the end I liked that he proposed under the sakura tree where they first met 。^‿^。 And the kid was the best: "Don't touch my mom, you perverted old man!" haha cute as the father!
