It was certainly something different, but in the first volume it seemed to me that the story didn't go anywhere. So, I like childhood friends theme, so I liked Toshi and Yumi. But here I also liked Toshi with Sumi, Yumi's older brother. So, either it was a story for them, or a story only for Toshi and Yumi. Having Toshi using Sumi as a substitute, having his first time with him etc., made it hard for me to see him then together with Yumi. I mean, I liked them, but it was kinda sad for Sumi...so, I have mixed feelings...kinda frustrating.
