However, while being categorized as shounen ai, this manga is not really BL. There's nothing really going on. It's bromance (at most BL subtext if we count the "I love him" said by Omi, the Queen's pet, referring to Kaoru, the Queen). I liked it, but I wasn't much interested, so I read it very quickly. I mean, it was not bad, but, if you want some actual shounen ai, I recommend the anime instead, where there's more about Keita and Kazuki's relationship and they really end up together. .୧୨. The anime of Stawberry Panic was the very first contact I had with GL! I watched it years ago, just because I was curious and it seemed cute. And I actually liked it!! It was so cute and funny, indeed. Well, after reading it, I think I prefer the manga, especially the interaction between Nagisa and Shizuma, but it's such a pity that it's discontinued!
