A really nice story! Such a pleasant reading! I enjoyed both anime and manga. For those like me who like historical stories and, you know, to watch period drama and such, in particular a victorian-era romance like this, I totally recommend it! Personally, I really liked the whole atmosphere / setting of the story and the cast of characters! And, above all, I really appreciated the author's care for details: one can see the efforts she put into research! > Note: Vol. 8-10 are "Emma: Further Tales". ⚜ Spoiled young master x Sneaky sexy butler The young master Rau is so spoiled that, when he wants to leave home because his father prepared for him an arranged marriage, the servants are so worried about how he's going to survive on his own: "It would be suicidal!" haha unless his faithful butler Gai goes with him! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ Btw, Takagi Ryou surely is a fan of Black Butler! Gai totally reminded me of Sebastian! And look at that smile at p. 19 haha I love this! Gai is like the perfect butler: so dashing! When a character is manipulative, sneaky, devious but, at the same time, so cool and sexy, I really can't resist!! > In Butler Game there is also the story of another master x servant couple. 3 Volumes (Complete)

Uhm I think the butler really had an unrequited love for the late master...but then, after his death, all the things he did were for young master's sake only. And he did so much for him, indeed. But the young master, Rui, didn't realize it...he thought it was just because he was the late master's son. At the last page he finally understood: "You...how many guys have you told those words to up until now?" Also, Kuroe said before: "Why does my voice never reach him? Everytime I try to convey it..."
