Ookami wa Tantei o Tabetai
[[Step-Uncle x Step-Nephew]] > [From Good Girls Scan BL] "Werewolf Syndrome" - The spontaneous onset of a strange disease. Those who are affected present symptoms such as attacking and devouring humans. In this world, this is merely an urban legend, but, 10 years ago, Reito's brother was killed by a werewolf. Since then he has spent his life as a lone detective in order to expose the truth behind werewolves. Under such circumstances, he meets his estranged nephew for the first time in 10 years. Reito was briefly surprised to see that Yoru, who used to be a crybaby, is now a dashing university student who towers over him. Shortly after, Yoru suggests that Reito should hire him in the detective agency...?!

Unique story, I like it when I find something different to read! Too bad that it was not fully developed though! There was a good world building at first but then it was so rushed! The setting and the plot were interesting, but there are things left without a closure, about the brother, who after being brought to jail escaped, and Sagiri says he will search for him, then about Sagiri's family as well. And, in any case, there was so much to be still explored, also at the academy, the school and dorm life, for example...it's a pity because it had the potential to be a better story! At least about their relationship it's completed, although rushed as well, but regarding the plot and the whole background, one would expect a second volume! So, in that respect, it felt like a draft of what could have been! Anyway, it's still cute to read!

Shugo Chara
ו•× I really liked this manga! The shugo eggs and the shugo chara|guardian characters are so cute! (≧∀≦) I watched the anime years ago and I read the manga only now, but I still liked it! Imo it's a nice story to read at any age, for real! It's so cute and funny and Ikuto will always be a weakness of mine! (。♡‿♡。) I loved Amu and Ikuto, Utau and Kuukai (I love "Older Female Younger Male"), Nagihiko and Rima. Younger readers will certainly love this story and it may be inspiring especially for those who are in the growing phase. In fact, it was awarded the 2008 Kodansha Manga Award for best children's manga. ➸ Maybe the only thing that was a bit "weird" is that Amu is in elementary school while Ikuto is already in high school! If you think about it, that's a bit unusual...but, personally, it didn't bother me at all, because their relationship was so pure and they were so cute! Also, in the end they look so good as grown-up! 。^‿^。 12 Volumes (Complete) ➸ Vol. 12 ch. 49-52: side story - Shugo Chara! Tokyo Mew Mew
ו•× Well, ever since I was a child I loved mahou shoujo and Tokyo Mew Mew, as many other well-known products of this category, was one of my fav! Back then I thought it was cool! So, I actually read the manga to recall those good old times and it brings back lots of memories indeed! However, analyzing the story critically, the actual development of the plot is flat; there aren't spannung or exciting moments...even the final resolution escalated quickly and in a very predictable way. About the romantic component, well that didn't satisfy me not even in the anime, because even back then I didn't like Ichigo and Masaya. But, even if there are some differences between the manga and the anime, this last one is more entertaining I guess, especially the battle scenes. Overall, the manga isn't so bad...it's still nice to read! Well, of course, coming back to it now, I realized it's not that great of a story, but it's cute and makes me think of when I was younger, so I still like it! Haha ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ I guess I'm biased because of that nostalgic feeling, but I'll give it 3☆! 7 Volumes (Complete) Magical Girls, Female Fighters, Animal Characteristics, Cafè, Waitresses, Secret Identity, Genetic Modification, Aliens, Rushed Ending|Axed Sequel: Tokyo Mew Mew a La Mode; Side-Story Sequel: Tokyo Mew Mew 2020 Re-Turn Related Series Timeline: 1) Tokyo Mew Mew 2) Tokyo Mew Mew à La Mode 3) Tokyo Mew Mew: 2020 Re-Turn Anime
Tokyo Mew Mew a La Mode
ו•× A sequel to Tokyo Mew Mew...was it really necessary? Oh well, I read it anyway. After all, there are only 2 volumes and so it doesn't take much time to read it. The plot is not worth mentioning, but the art was still nice and I found Berry so cute! In the prequel I didn't like the couple, Ichigo and Masaya, but in this sequel at least I liked Berry and Tasuku: such an adorable couple! For me that's really the only thing that kinda satisfied me, but I think younger readers may appreciate this story more than I did. 2 Volumes (Complete) Magical Girls, Female Fighters, Animal Characteristics, Genetic Modification, Cafè, Waitresses, Secret Identity, Hypnotism, Manipulation, Childhood Friends, Male Lead Falls in Love First, Rushed Ending|Axed Prequel: Tokyo Mew Mew; Side-Story Sequel: Tokyo Mew Mew 2020 Re-Turn Related Series Timeline: 1) Tokyo Mew Mew 2) Tokyo Mew Mew à La Mode 3) Tokyo Mew Mew: 2020 Re-Turn
