High-school Student (17) x Older Sister's friend|Novelist (24) One of my old favourites. I think it's one of the best BL from the 90s. Probably many works took inspiration from this later on, especially in regard to age-gap theme, so it's a story to read! To be honest, I don't like psycho ex-lovers still hanging around in an obsessive, stalkery way, trying to take back the person even with force, rape etc., so the whole drama with Ren's ex-lover Hirose was not exactly my type of thing. But overall the story was really good and engaging! Also, I'm weak when it comes to age gap / youth x adult, cohabitating due to certain circumstances and such, so I really enjoyed the interaction and the development of the relationship between Ren and Jouji! In the end, I was so glad to see them looking happy together! > Note: The title "Yume no Kodomo" is actually the title of one of the novels written by Ren. 17 Volumes (Complete) - Hope to read the whole story! Man, I was so engrossed that I read it all at once! Too bad it's not available past vol. 6! It's from 1990, but I came across it only recently...As I love to read old manga, I wish I found it sooner! Also because, according to my personal tastes, this is a genre I love and find interesting to read and, tbh, it's actually been a while since I found such an intriguing reading!
