I had a hard time reading it, but later it gets a lot better with the progressing of the story and when new characters are introduced. I loved step-siblings Tsubasa and Kazuma, so adorable!! That's why I began to enjoy the reading around ch 50 (ch 48-57, approximately), when there is the development of their relationship! From ch 59, the story goes back to the main couple and finally it becomes more interesting and mature; it goes much more in depth, dealing with more serious issues and all the family drama. Maybe it's not a story I'd re-read, but overall it's good! Adapted to Anime - I think the beginning is funnier to watch in the anime, rather than in the manga, where it seemed boring to me, as I said...

The thing is the step-son has around the same age as the uke and goes to the same school, so had the uke's late wife twice his age? But more than the age gap issue, the fact is that the uke is currently a high schooler and it's already been three years since the woman died, so when did they get married? When he was around 14 or 15? It was a really weird and random story...
