Futsuu no Koiko-chan
If you want to make a character normal with normal face, then don't draw them like an angel compared to other characters. The story is the cliche "I am so gonna be this way until a prince charming randomly shows up and pushes me another way while I fall in love with him for absolutly no reason (but his face of course)". Tired of that genre, gotta change my gears after this.
Olgami
The ending is a nah for me. The "i want to stay human but we remain lovers" is so cliche i could sniff it from miles away. But if author wanted to finish in 190 chapters, that probably was the only decent ending possible. These stories never follow the couple over time. It is like mangas that end with couples marrying in a happily ever after fashion but we all know marriage is just the beginning of angst and heartbreak. Death in a relationship is a much more interesting and poetic theme to explore, specially in vampire genre, but obviously no one gives it a shot because it is hard and too realistically dark for teen audience. In the end, Olgami also chose the easier path of cliche.
