Even Dogs Fall in Love
this mangaka sure love drawing outrageous acrobatic poses. not that its a problem though. just want to mention it cuz its really stand out and really show how professional this mangaka is in term of drawing dynamic poses and anatomy. though can't say the same for most of this mangaka story, none of them really interested, just imo.
Fugai nai Koi
Its an alright read. The art is nice tho. One thing that particularly interest me about the way this mangaka draw this is the narrative. For example the sex friend, Masaki, at first he is like this ass side character you don't even care whatsoever, his face also not that properly shown. And then, almost at the end when he confess he in love with Yukito, suddenly his face is properly shown. Its like, we the reader, very concentrate to Yukito, that we don't care about this Masaki dude, we are in the perspective of Yukito, which is why Masaki mention that Yukito is hurting the people around him because he don't care about nobody except Kei-Chan. And at that time I realize that what Masaki said is true, he is hurting the people around him, he didn't realize it.
Believe My Sign
this is a gem. its not overly long, full with content, no wasted on stupid drama, very flesh out characters that you will get to know eventually and care very deeply about. I also noticed there's alot of care put into each panel drawing and it has meaning (which is true, author describe the intention behind some panel drawing on authors note). I kept thinking if its okay to be categorize as comedy genre (because i am infact laugh a few times, no denying that), BUT the overall story lean more toward the story and the characters rather than the comedic moment, so i guess this can just be listed as 'subtle comedy'. also, best creator note I've ever read. there's alot of important explanation and thought process of the creator that it all seem very useful information and not yapping unimportant stuff. another thing to add, these 2 main characters is sooo unique and the way they express love is very endearing.
The Royal Prince's First Love
Tapas version available on batoto. https://bato.to/series/95593/the-prince-s-first-love there's few things to take note about this manhua. - the coloring is so damn pretty, good use on lightning - although the bg is 3d, you can barely see it because it was colorize beautifully - although this is shounen-ai, it feel 'explicit' despite it not being explicit.
The Protagonist Only Thinks About Falling In Love
What i think of their dynamic. This is based on this manhua alone, with the broken ass translation. I haven't read the novel. also, might aswell call this "seme system simulator". seeing that every system ended up as a seme lol every single stories in this is very sweet and wholesome. not a single toxic couple. 1st story 1-52 story about a system (Shen Yi) trying to stop Fu gege blackened (probably becoming antagonist?). Shen Yi, despite being a system, he has personality of his own. towards Fu gege he is quirky, foxy-like personality, flirty, coquestish. Fu towards Shen, he is domineering (professional at grabbing Shen Yi arm at this point, idk how many time has he grab Shen arm), posessive, sugar daddy, spoiling Shen. From outsider perspective, Fu is hard to get along, cold and strict. Which is not wrong. He is like that too with Shen at first, but for some reason Shen quirkiness and flirtyness able to torn down Fu defense without much effort. Its honestly refreshing to see a personality swap like this. Its always the top who possesive and jealous, bottom who flirty and popular. This is the other way around. Moreover Fu gege do be acting like a top occasionally. I like this more tbh. 2nd story 53-94 (i don't remember their name bc too many name titles). Romance about majesty and regent. Majesty having unrequited love towards his regent. Regent is a system transferred into regent body which is very sickly. Majesty is possessive, get jealous easily, a bit tsundere, childish, caring towards regent. Regent is calming, strict to others. Towards his majesty, he is caring, (surprisingly) flirtatious (after they're together), a bit insecure. 3rd story 95 - 136 now that we're going into 3rd story, ngl, i was expecting some variety, something different than the first 2. i was expecting maybe the system this time have non-protag as love interest. maybe the system this time a uke instead of seme like the first 2. but nah...its the same. out of the 2 though, this couple is the most generic one. it didn't leave me wondering who's gonna end up as a top or bottom. 4th story 137 - 171 well again, seme system. although this one is also quite generic, its more interesting and cute than 3rd story. we have non-human protag who is very clingy, jealous, possessive, cute, lovable. 5th story 172- This is a first time I read manhua with multiple stories in one manhua, so as soon as the 2nd story appeared in different era, that caught me off guard lmao I really enjoyed all of the story so far. Now we're going into the 3rd story. The art in this manhua is so beautiful.
Sekai de ichiban toui koi
This is currently marked as completed. Its true that there's gonna be volume 2, but its still in the making, and there's no info about it yet other than the mangaka mentioning about it at the end of chapter 5. So I think it could probably be next year? maybe? This was made in 2020, just fyi. So hopefully volume 2 will be come out soon. edit: volume 2 is finally out now!
Zetsubou ni Nake
I've said this once on this mangaka other work, and I'll say it again, this mangaka really like overdramatization (I'm not talking about the SA, I'm talking about the end of volume 2). these 2 main characters reminded me of the 2 main characters from 'Warehouse'. and that one also a revenge story.
