That bird turns out to be the (addicted to nectar ball) kid's new fellow student under their master. So, if past chapter is the truth, that means that kid didn't come to see her for years until she's already gone from there... The question now is, what happened? Did she evolve into the highest form of alraunes that's able to move... Or was she picked up by the demon king to be his general or something So last chap (5; not the extra) was a battle between a giant (mature) horned bear (I forgot the proper name of it) who was trying to uproot alraune-neesan.
