Reminiscence Adonis
lanna and Arhad had much in common. They both only cared about themselves, and were madly obsessed with each other. The difference is one wanted the other's warmth, and the other wanted submission. Though lanna's life ended in a heated battle against Arhad, the Kingdom's emperor, she is reincarnated into same life for reasons unknown. Two people who faced misery in their previous life now have a chance to meet again. Will the same tragedy repeat itself, or can lanna change the course of history? ------------ I'm quite excited to see where this one's headed to. I love Ianna & Arhad's dynamic. As well as the line the author's been drawing between their past-lives and their current selves' relationship. Making it clear that, whilst the past is there, and they have an obvious past connection, that they are falling for each other's CURRENT selves, and do not love each other for the IDEA of each other and their past selves. Especially, the way that Arhad's feelings towards Ianna are described and being tackled is a fascinating one. At first it made me anxious at the idea that what he loved wasn't Ianna's current self, but her past form as Roberstein, but slowly, the author has drawn a clear line, insuring the readers that, whilst he does carry lingering feelings towards her past-lives, all-in-all, Ianna is Ianna, and the one whom he currently loves is her, not her past self. Meanwhile, seeing Ianna slowly learn how to love, both, herself, and other people is truly interesting. She also has such a nice personality, she isn't naive let alone a pushover. I really like how the romance between her and Arhad hasn't been rushed up to this point, and how it isn't the only focal point to this story. We get an actual plot besides the romance, and it's an interesting one at that. I can't wait to see more of Ianna as she slowly falls for Arhad. It's been a long ride, but it's truly been worth it.
