This is a fun, quick and entertaining-type read. The plot isn't bad either. Not a masterpiece, but plenty enjoyable when bored.

Ch.114 ---------- I like it, the dumb humor's the type I roll for, and the story's enjoyable. But it does bore me a bit at times. Still a nice read tho.

Tale of the Yellow Dragon

Complete | Brothers Without A Tomorrow | 2000 released

With the screech of rubber and a crunch of metal, Dojin departs the mortal world, leaving behind his beloved sister and niece. He awakens in the kingdom of Yooguk, where the people call him “emperor” and serve a god named Yellow Dragon. Dojin soon discovers that Yellow Dragon called him to Yooguk for a purpose: to share his “life force” and protect the kingdom. As Dojin slips deeper into Yellow Dragon’s cold embrace, how far will he go in order to get back home? ----------- Quite sweet. There's not much to it besides this. I liked the endearing relationship that Yooshin (AKA Yellow Dragon) & Dojin had. It wasn't a story that I read thinking it was fascinating, let alone a masterpiece. But it had its fair share of emotional ups and downs, as well as likeable characters. It's definitely an enjoyable read for sure. The ending didn't feel rushed either, unlike most BLs' endings tend to feel. Instead, it felt really natural and made the plot come together. It also ended on an extra sweet note to boot, really nice.

At the End of the Road

Complete | Haribo | 2016 released

After a car accident, Taemin finds himself in the body of Siwon, a victim of bullying at school. No longer a pushover, he starts standing up for himself but then meets Woojin, an old friend from the past. Somehow, Woojin immediately picks up Taemin's 'scent' from Siwon. What happened between these two in the past and how will it affect their future? ---------- It's a really interesting story to follow, but also a really disappointing one. I wish that Jiwook would've ended up in a youth detention center or a psych ward to get some treatment or something as well as pay for his crimes somehow. Whilst he was not physically one of Siwon's rapists, he was still an instigator, as well as the one who leaked the videotape around. I wish we'd seen a scene with Siwon's assaulters being brought to justice with the videotape and the recording as evidence. I do get what the author tried too do by having Taemin (AKA Siwon) throw the recorder away and tell Woojin (AKA Siwoon) that he "didn't want him to step that low". But that wouldn't have been stepping low in any way shape or form if they'd brought said recording to the authorities. And I'd have felt better about Siwon's case, like he at least had gotten justice for what he'd endured and been pushed to suicide for. Jiwook literally pushed someone to suicide, had the videotape of said person being raped leaked and spread around, he abused them in several ways, and again last but not least, he pushed them to suicide. But he gets to just live his life as if nothing ever happened along with his fellow instigators? They should all pay for what they did. So, I'm pretty sour regarding this fact. It was really upsetting how there was such a build-up to them paying for their crimes, yet nothing happens in the end, and you're given such a piss poor of an excuse that "I don't want you to stoop as low as them". It makes no sense. I'll give you that Taemin & Woojin's relationship is such a fascinating one. Their bonds go deep, which the author does a really good job at demonstrating. Their relationship has a very nice vibe to it as well, and Taemin's character on its own is already really interesting. He made me chuckle more than once just by being himself. It's crazy how interesting each characters are. Even side-characters like Hoon and Minjun, you end up wanting to learn more about them and get attached to them more and more as the story goes. But Woojin is way too controlling and obsessive. So it could be worth giving it a go for these few aspects, but one should be aware that it will de disappointing and upsetting overall.

The beginning after the end

Ongoing | Turtleme,Fuyuki23 | 2000 released

Ch.155 ------ King Grey has unrivaled strength, wealth, and prestige in a world governed by martial ability. However, solitude lingers closely behind those with great power. Beneath the glamorous exterior of a powerful king lurks the shell of man, devoid of purpose and will. Reincarnated into a new world filled with magic and monsters, the king has a second chance to relive his life. Correcting the mistakes of his past will not be his only challenge, however. Underneath the peace and prosperity of the new world is an undercurrent threatening to destroy everything he has worked for, questioning his role and reason for being born again. ---------- I'm liking the pace so far, if handled even just a bit differently, I don't think it'd pass. It'd easily feel rushed. But somehow, this isn't slow-paced, yet it doesn't feel rushed either. I like the main character, he is interesting to follow and the plot's pretty intriguing as well. The Artwork's pretty nice too.
