Kiyoku Tadashiku Utsuku Shiku
A sole omega was born into an alpha family. They hid him away and raised him in secret, ashamed of his existence. Chikage (omega) is named heir of the Souma clan after his older sister ran away. The first omega to be the leader of an alpha only clan. Hiroto (alpha) met Chikage once when they were both kids. They met again when Hiroto is chosen to take care of Chikage at school. But he's nothing like the sweet child who clung to him before, Chikage now has a cold attitude but a slutty body...and wants nothing to do Hiroto?! ---------- I feel like this manga's conflict was very well handled by the author. They did a very good job at portraying how disgustingly Omegas are treated, not only by Alphas, but Betas, and society as a whole. But with that said, given that the author also included some family conflict too, which gave the plot so much potential. That just made it so frustrating how it ended so abruptly. I wasn't able to feel satisfied with the ending, as it felt like nothing had really changed at all. The two MCs elope and live together but that's about it. Nothing was truly resolved. I liked how psychologically involved this manga was as well, but that too, had much more potential than what was displayed. I still liked it, but Urgh, how frustrated I am man...
Ijiwaru na Tsukai no Netsu ni Oborete
Omega wa Pink no Yume wo Miru
How to Snag an Alpha
Honestly I don't know WTF, but this is hilarious. It's so stupid. I love it.
Baby, Punk Kid
Ha Rim (omega), as his heat-cycle approaches, and desperate for suppressants, attempts to rob a stranger. It turns out that his opponent was Seojin, the leader of a criminal organization. Thinking Ha Rim was sent to assassinate him by a rival organization, he offers him a sedative to soothe his heat-cycle and gives him a lecture not to attempt any such foolish actions in the future. However, as Ha Rim was about to leave, he takes the opportunity to steal Seojin's wallet, but he eventually gets himself captured by the organization once more and is brought in. ---------- The Art is beautiful, and the story was entertaining. I liked Ha Rim's heartwarming and straight-forward personality. It was a bit rushed and could've been longer and more detailed, making it way more interesting in the process. But for a short read it's plenty enjoyable as it is.
Kiraide Isasete
Koga Naoto is an omega who was raped by his alpha classmates and got pregnant. Due to that traumatic experience, he came to hate alphas and told himself that he doesn't need a lifemate or a bond, but even with that incident, he insisted on keeping the child and raised her, and an angel named Shizuku was born. She became his strength and center in this cruel word that treats omegas unfairly. But his life suddenly changed when he met an alpha named Tsuchiya Hazuki from the matchmaking party he forced himself to attend. ---------- Kiraide Isasete is undoubtedly my favorite Omegaverse out there. I get so emotional every single time that I read it. It has such endearing characters and the plot is actually an interesting one to follow. I really like Naoto and Hazuki's personalities, and Shizuku is the cream on top that perfects the whole set. I also really like Mitsuki and Yuki's characters (respectively, Hazuki & Naoto's mothers). But I'd have liked to see more of Yuki. Passed the main chapters we didn't see her again much which was a shame. The characters all feel so alive and are strong. I always find myself rediscovering this one and interpreting it in various ways whenever re-reading it. Such a great piece of work!
