A Guy Like You
it was honestly not as good as it was said to be. the concept was interesting and it had potential but it wasn't executed well. the first part of the story was fine but the second part was just everywhere. the character design and art style got better deeper into the story but the plot didn't. there was so many parts that was confusing to me or were just out of place. I also felt like every chapter was just drama filled, there wasn't many scenes were the relationship developed non anticlimactically, and even if there was it was put into a flashback as if it was just thrown in there. overall, the storyline made me have mixed feelings. not to mention the ending? like tf? that man was a psychopath but he just recovered faster than their break up. the ending felt really rushed. I felt like I was reading a kdrama on steroids... also, what happened to the best friend? he was such a good friend and he was made important yet it didn't feel like it. he rarely got any screen time for someone who was made important and I lowkey wanted to see more of him.
