THE ARTTTTTTTT OF THIS their smiles especially are truly so full of character and beautiful this was great the dynamic and setting was fun yet dark i wouldve preferred it didnt go that route but i understand why it went there also my heart dropped when they revealed that the ml is barely 20 i KNOW that age of 18-22 is considered Adult Age but the 10year age gap between 30yos and 20yos is tricky its just not for me luv

freaking out with the last few pages im 100% sure the author crafted this whole story just to use those lines ejxjwhdj something about cringe is admirable

this is NO JOKE my favourite depiction of love ever its mundane and nothing grand but its happiness persevering and thats all that matters imo this is on the same level as keita hatsukoi aka faded first love in terms of wholesome goofy entertainment value but also that ability to draw out the real emotions and meaning in its situations two big thumbs up from me

same thing as the prequel this author is GOD i do prefer the other one because it felt more homey and atmospheric but this too is very likable

the premise sounds so out there but this really is tame i like it :) it hits the Cute, Sweet and Pure criteria for sure.. kinda funny too it made me chuckle a lil the mc is timid and sweet and the ml is gentlemanly without being overly suave or having a personality comparable to 2 ply tissue

the delicious angsty childhood friends to lovers aside this is so much fun to read ah a time before fucking covid

there are a lot of things i dont like about this like the suspiciously constant mentions of suicide played off as lighthearted jokes and the overly suave asshole ml who acts confusingly and speaks cryptically BUT!!! i still quite enjoy it bc of its characters and setting its slowly evolving into a typical confident ml chases wary mc by chapter 40 but thats alright with me i hope they address the traumatic outings mc has gone through and how ml ties into it tho also the art style completely changes in chapt 20ish??? not complaining but the ml did look more sha la la handsome in the og artstyle imo

oh geez this is so sweet personally the art reminds me of ayu ikemori's works and tbh the vibe does too !! 5 stars alone for the 'dont people have sex immediately after becoming a couple' because i love digs at bl cliches

terribly tropey yet terribly wholesome im bout to keel over with how much i love shit like this they're supposed to be archetypal opposites yet their personalities bend to each other so easily [disintegrating crying emoji]

the universe said 'i think you can have a little treat' and dropped a mutual pining between friends slash roommates, responsible and caring and no-nonsense ml + smiley mc, topped off with a fun friend group into my lap just like that. WOW it has its bouts of Misunderstandings and Melodrama but lets be real these r the pillars of bl its what im here for
