obsessed with this title and premise but wish ml wasnt in high school !

rly wanted to like this bc the art is so cute but i cant stand how being fat is framed as something that Deserves to be a source of bullying and name-calling the ml is constantly bringing up the mc's weight and the mc is just fine w it cause hes 'used to it' srsly?? even the person u like??? theres also a part where the mc gained weight from his trauma 'knowing' that no one will confess to him if he is fat as if someone's weight dictates their worth anyway its too uncomfy for me and the B plot with the ml and his crush and how it ties to the mc is convoluted and irrelevant too nvm read hoppe ni himawari instead

this would have been good if the ml didnt sa the mc the first time im srsly dumbfounded by this trope to me all trust is broken once u pull shit like that idk how they still stay in love with them

@chapt 4 u know i rly want to like this authors works bc of their pretty art but they seriously need to include more setting up of the main couple like all their stories start with 'ok this guy loves this guy' with the expectation that we'll instantly root for them instead im never sold on the ml bc all we're told is that hes handsome and nice to the mc (the bar is on the ground) and the romance aspect is immediately boring to me anyways this story is ridiculous and i would like that (the mc's magical boy outfit has cutouts on the waist and thighs) BUT u have to deal with the magical villains constantly sexually assaulting him as a way of attack and sorry luvs but thats just not something i wanna read lol???

finally prepped myself emotionally for a cute harmless reunion age gap story but end of chapt 1 mc literally confesses that he's in love with the CHILD ML and has been longing for the CHILD ML for 10 years hello??? the ml is no longer a child when they meet again but bro a person in my mind stays as exactly they are the last time i see them i am not developing feelings for a child i met 10 years ago and then projecting these feelings onto a book that i will publish and be known for omg... weirdo behaviour

only at chapt 1 but the vibe is not it LOL the rs is toxic (bc of the ml) and turns terrifying (bc of the mc) but not in the ohh this gets into the complexities of the human mind Psychological genre kind of way its instead played off for the 'comedy' and feels like a huge stretch bc both of them dont even seem to rly like nor genuinely care for each other yet theyre childhood friends and somehow end up having sex and i assume end up romantically involved despite everything wokay delusion convince yourself
