I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed this! I went into it completely blind, since I didn’t read the summary and the title didn’t help, but it was so good. Kaede is struggling with the loss of his older brother, who fell of a veranda. He believes his brother committed suicide and feels guilty because he thinks he caused it. During the entrance ceremony he’s reunited with his “dog” Noro, a kid he spent the summer with while his brother was overseas. Noro came back because he wanted to see Kaede and the two resume their friendship. Though, initially Noro is only his pet that comforts Kaede, their relationship slowly develops into something more. Throughout the story we find out about the struggles and complicated pasts of both Noro and Asahi. It was really interesting to see Asahi’s struggle with his identity, I wanted to know more about him and his student. It was a good story with lots of feeling and characters that were charming, and interesting. By the end of it I was both happy and sad, but I would definitely recommend checking this one out.

I’ll be honest I don’t like Kan-chan and Yumi together. I’m glad they’re separated and are now with people who love them and support them. I don’t like reading prequels about the first relationship after everything is already settled with a different partner, but I had to know what led Kan-chan and Yumi’s relationship to deteriorate. It was painful see Kan-chan’s downward spiral but I’m glad I read it.

I just love hurting myself, but I can't help it. It's going to be an emotional and heart-wrenching ride. My body isn't ready but screw it, I'm all in for this.

I'm kind of wary of that tragedy tag.

Two friends who've never had girlfriends give each other blowjobs. I was honestly waiting for something twisted to happen, but it's just a nice smutty oneshot about two horny, and awkward boys. The ending was funny though.

UPDATE: Can we talk about how freaking beautiful that ending was? That was great! Even though the plot and the development of the story weren't really something groundbreaking and new, a familiar plot line done right can still hit you in all the right spots. For me, this manga was perfection. It's simple but it gives (at least it did to me) and emotional punch. Yes! I read the raws a while back and someone finally posted it here. Ono Shizuka is a baker who got into an argument with his partner Sakai and fell off the stairs. The accident caused him to forget about Sakai entirely. However, he now is very interested in the beautiful but lonely man. There's going to be some angstiness up ahead.
