I have read this manga more than five times now and the feeling it leaves me with is akin to biting down on a broken tooth. I felt like I was on a rollercoaster ride that crashed and burned at the end. The story involves three friends, whom I will refer to as seme, uke and friend since none of them have names. The gist of it is: uke likes the friend, seme likes the uke, there’s a weird love triangle and they’re all jerks that deserve no sympathy. Like seriously I couldn’t find anything likeable about any of them. The ending is okay in my opinion, sure we don’t get a clear resolution of what happens to the characters after those last pages, but knowing these characters it’s not hard to imagine where they’re going. Overall, even with that ending I liked watching those three hurt themselves, it was painful but oddly enjoyable.
If you’re looking for something dark, bitter, angst-y, with a love triangle and you don’t mind an open ending, this should be right up your alley.
