After breaking his leg, Morioka Sei befriends a calligraphy professor, Akimune, who’s staying in the same hospital. Akimune decides to make Sei the inheritor of his considerable fortune. When meeting with Akimune to discuss the matter of the inheritance, Sei reunites with his senpai, and first love Sugiura Takaki. However, Sugiura doesn’t seem to remember Sei and acts coldly towards him. This was a cute manga, if a tad too cliché. I liked it a lot, mostly because Sei is so precious. He’s like a little puppy, you just want to cuddle him. Even though he’s so fluffy and delicate, I like that he went after his first love, even when he was treated badly. Sugiura went overboard with the whole ‘keeping the distance’ thing but he wasn’t unbearable or anything. I see where he’s coming from but still. I was okay with him and his indifferent attitude. The side characters were great though. I loved the lawyer, Tateishi, he was awesome. I wanted to see more of him.
I would recommend this if you’re in the mood for adorable protagonists and a light story.
