Red-Haired James
Guy adopted and raised an orphaned red head named James. James is the literal definition of Anne of Green Gables and it’s hella hilarious. Even with the comedy there are points in the story where you genuinely cry and question the morals of the main characters. Still, I liked the twists and turns. This story could have gone very wrong cause the dude literally raised this child and ended up becoming lovers with him, but who am I to judge? There were moments where James fantasizes Henry and it made me very uncomfortable, but ehhhhh I got passed that once James was of age.
Hidoku Shinaide
Okay. The beginning was veeeerrrrryyyy questionable. Like reallly werid. So basically seme raped the uke and sexually harassed him in school, but after the 1st volume, character change, and relationship evolution, the story and writing gets better in the long term. Once the two got together and accepted each other’s feelings, I ended up liking how mature the two became and the growth both had gone through. Also they made amends and the relationship ended up fairly healthy. The writing does get better to. Like way better.
Lucky Paradise
Jung In-Ho just can't catch a break. In a rush to make it to class before he missed a pop quiz, he crashed head-first into a passerby and groped his chest. It turns out that passerby is a sunbae in his university's physical education department. The cover looks cute. It’s not cute. This comic took my heart and feared it into pieces. It hurts. It fucking hurts. Honestly I hate love triangles. The turmoil, the love, and drama kills me, but when love triangles are done right, it elevates and makes the story pretty tragic. This one makes you care about every character and I don’t know who to root for because I just at want them to be okay. The comedic moments make me laugh my ass off and the dramatic moments make me cry and hurt me to no end. It’s good writing and the sex scenes are hella sexy. So far, I feel like the uke is finally having those feels for the seme after they broke off the relationship. Like after 60 chapters lol. I get that the red head and the sunbae know each other for a long time but dude it’s a frickin toxic relationship and I don’t want it to end up like love or hate. (Another comic with a love triangle that stressed me out to no end) With Ho-in and the sumbae, the, subbae is soooooo much happier and wait… is he smiling? Yes indeed he smiled. I’m kinda glad that the broke off the relationship cause they do need growing, but I low key feel like the uke is finally getting feelings for him.
Ring
A sweet story between a little angel and a big angel~ Suprisingly dirty and pretty wholesome at the same time. The story is pretty good when it focuses on the two main characters. Idk about u but the other couples and the unsesarily graphic sex scenes between those couples took me out of the loop. The story isn’t well writen at all but the art is pretty cute and well I kinda like it.
Hetakuso Love Step
Spring: the second year of university. A time when a student should be able to enjoy their freedom and youth. Even though Kotarou has no friends and no girlfriend, he enjoys his calm life. However, because his beautiful childhood friend Miyako was being pursued by the university playboy Yoshino Aoi, Kotarou was forced to pretend to be her boyfriend. Kotarou thought that he was able to fool Yoshino, but he was easily caught. "I've given up on her, so I want to get along with you now." Yoshino then takes Kotarou to the bathroom to teach him some things... I actully liked it. I mean it was okay and thre development and romance between the two characters felt natural.
