Path to You
When almost college dropout Jensen attempts to drink away his problems, unemployed Nathaniel suddenly pukes on him and ruins his night. As an apology, Nathaniel offers to help Jensen with his studies. Despite Jensen's difficulties in getting along with people, the two become friends and something deeper begins to grow between them... - It’s…okay? The pacing in the beginning was actually really good but the end with all of the backstory and closing ties had ended up being soooo rushed. Of course, the author did well but the dialogue and wrapping everything up in only a few chapters didn’t allow the story to actully breathe. Like it was good but the ending was rushed and idk the pacing was so good and the developement between the two felt right but the ending felt forced for a quick happy ever after. I’m glad it wasn’t problematic and they talked it out, but like it was like checking off boxes. Like oh, everyone talked, check, we aren’t going bring this major point up anymore cause it’s done, check. Also, idk, the dialogue at the end felt so forced. Anyway, it was a cute story with really cute art. I liked the characters and I also liked their flaws. I just wish there was more countinuty and more time for the characters to processes their own feelings and the events.
Hetakuso Love Step
Spring: the second year of university. A time when a student should be able to enjoy their freedom and youth. Even though Kotarou has no friends and no girlfriend, he enjoys his calm life. However, because his beautiful childhood friend Miyako was being pursued by the university playboy Yoshino Aoi, Kotarou was forced to pretend to be her boyfriend. Kotarou thought that he was able to fool Yoshino, but he was easily caught. "I've given up on her, so I want to get along with you now." Yoshino then takes Kotarou to the bathroom to teach him some things... I actully liked it. I mean it was okay and thre development and romance between the two characters felt natural.

from tofu] Honda, a gym trainer with a dry love life, can't help but be attracted to Konno, a man whose face is his ideal type. When he finds out that Konno is gay, he gets turned on by him, and finally realizes that he is in love. However, Konno has been in an unrequited love with someone for quite some time...... A pure and lewd love story of two clumsy men. It’s good, but there were some unresolved things and I left plot points. Who was the uke in love with? What exactly happen to the seme when he was rejected? It was sort of implied and seen but we never really got to resolve the basic trama to their problems. Like they got together and boom happy ending everything solved. Even with this, it just feels like a missed opportunity to explore the characters. Still, I actually liked the art and how the uke got over his unrequited love and found the new hot gym trainer.
