Outsider Communication
Seki, who hangs out with the slacker students at his high school is discovered working part-time by the elite student Iwashiro. Despite not knowing each other, they fight, and while Seki is trying to get rid of him, he accidentally makes Iwashiro fall down the stairs. Having sprained his ankle, Iwashiro forces Seki to help him. What will happen when these two with completely different personalities start spending time together? Soooo cute I really like it
The Makeup Remover
It’s a pretty good manwha about a plain girl and this makeup artist doing a Cinderella competition. All of the character had depth in them and I really liked it. Even the side characters and minor ones had a chance to shine. I think many things like the chemistry between the characters and the way everything kept getting tense to the point where you start to care about the mjnor ones. They all have their faults and this competition showed what makeup and art can do. With all this said and done, I think the ending was probably the weakest point. Not that the ending was bad. It was just that we never got a resolve on the romance and the relationship between the 2 main characters. There were many hints and build ups about coming closer and their relationship, but in the end, it felt flat because it wasn’t resolved.
Red-Haired James
Guy adopted and raised an orphaned red head named James. James is the literal definition of Anne of Green Gables and it’s hella hilarious. Even with the comedy there are points in the story where you genuinely cry and question the morals of the main characters. Still, I liked the twists and turns. This story could have gone very wrong cause the dude literally raised this child and ended up becoming lovers with him, but who am I to judge? There were moments where James fantasizes Henry and it made me very uncomfortable, but ehhhhh I got passed that once James was of age.
Kanawanu Koi no Musubikata
Kamisawa is in the business of cutting the red string of fate, freeing his clients from people they may be destined to be with. However, the man who was just another client may become... Idk about u but I love red string stories. They fascinate me. Honestly I had really liked this concept and how the characters are throughout this. Albeit, going against fate and wushu washy shit was kind, No really forced but I understood what those to felt the way they felt.
Ring
A sweet story between a little angel and a big angel~ Suprisingly dirty and pretty wholesome at the same time. The story is pretty good when it focuses on the two main characters. Idk about u but the other couples and the unsesarily graphic sex scenes between those couples took me out of the loop. The story isn’t well writen at all but the art is pretty cute and well I kinda like it.
Here U Are
Receptioning the newcomers is a task for YuYang, and he ends up helping the unsociable and towering LiHuan, the kind of person that does everything to be disliked. But after better knowing each other, he discovers that the giant isn't that bad of a person at all... - It’s good. The story, plot, and the slow progression and longing between the two MCs are amazing beautiful. I love it and it’s so sweet. The development and chemistry was so goood, and the art is soooo amazing. I think the only qualm I had with this story was the relationship between the uncle and red head. It’s sorta felt like grooming because of the age gap and I felt like I wanted to shut my screen every time I saw it cause of My embarrassment. I eventually got to root for them but dude it took a lot in me to finish.
Path to You
When almost college dropout Jensen attempts to drink away his problems, unemployed Nathaniel suddenly pukes on him and ruins his night. As an apology, Nathaniel offers to help Jensen with his studies. Despite Jensen's difficulties in getting along with people, the two become friends and something deeper begins to grow between them... - It’s…okay? The pacing in the beginning was actually really good but the end with all of the backstory and closing ties had ended up being soooo rushed. Of course, the author did well but the dialogue and wrapping everything up in only a few chapters didn’t allow the story to actully breathe. Like it was good but the ending was rushed and idk the pacing was so good and the developement between the two felt right but the ending felt forced for a quick happy ever after. I’m glad it wasn’t problematic and they talked it out, but like it was like checking off boxes. Like oh, everyone talked, check, we aren’t going bring this major point up anymore cause it’s done, check. Also, idk, the dialogue at the end felt so forced. Anyway, it was a cute story with really cute art. I liked the characters and I also liked their flaws. I just wish there was more countinuty and more time for the characters to processes their own feelings and the events.
