Sweet As Hell
If anyone’s looking for proof that two people can have casual sex and stay friends, look no further than Choi Eui-hyun and Jung Min. First classmates, and now co-workers, the secret ingredient to this 9-year relationship may just be Min’s unique preferences in bed. As someone who has never needed a safe word for anything in his life, Eui-hyun often struggles with Min’s overwhelming demands. Min, on the other hand, sometimes feels frustrated by how much convincing Eui-hyun needs to get kinky with him. But they’ve already lasted nine years, so what’s nine more…right? Or will their differences ultimately drive them apart?- This was an alright one its wasn't my personal cup of tea but I do admit its good. The uke is just not into the seme and I think that is fine. He is not entitled to his feelings. Yet I feel as though my morals are still conflicted. I feel like the uke knows his feelings, but why put up with it? Why string him along if he just wanted to keep it causal. At the same time, I do really wonder what the uke feels. Its from the seme point of view. He is sort of a sappy sort of chap. Oh its very sexy and there is a lot of smut but I don't really mind.
Nani mo Iwanai
Description: A collection of one-shot with a unique twist to some typical BL tropes. Ch.1-2 (3/5): They were basically obsessed with each other and used a girl to make the other one jealous. I'm gonna be honest. That plot twist had thrown me off for a second, but then I realized well of course they are gay. I think this was very wholesome compared to the other 2. Ch.3 (2.5/5): This one contained a very wholesome relationship between a teacher and a student. jk how could it be wholesome? The MC lost his memories from falling off the stairs. Oh he's also a teacher who then proceeds to admire? or have an infatuation? with his student. Then the story makes a plot twist that contains um...family love? Turns out the student was his age and his brother. You know, they love their own brother too much. ANYWAY, their dad died and so on. I think the dad didn't like their relationship so they did another plot twist with one of the two killing the father.. It was mediocre and very all over the place but it was alright at the same time.
Rix Vanus
The handsome and strapping Prince Rix Vanus has returned to his homeland after winning a brutal war against demons! And yet... cursed by a vicious demon, the warrior prince is tormented nightly with shameful, lust-filled hallucinations as the demon takes the lascivious form of all his associates. Escaping to the wild, miraculously, a benevolent divine spirit named Nuah joins the prince, seeking to break the curse and ease his suffering. And now, his nights — and more — are filled with Nuah... its pretty good. Like Hella good. The characters are flawed and beautiful and the seme is very sweet to the uke. I like the healthy part of the relationship. The story gives me a feeling of bitter sweetness I never felt before.
The Man in the Mirror
Sal Senba is going to be the head of the Senba clan-a family with a long and distinguished history teaching the art of ikebana, or Japanese flower arrangements. He's not sure he's up for this role, though, being born into it instead of "earning" it. Months before the ritualistic ikebana exhibition to symbolize the succession, he falls into his mirror and finds himself in another world... one with a beautiful garden of flowers and an even more beautiful man. At first, Sal thinks this Prince Shaal has nothing to do with him... but little by little, he sees that they mirror each other more than he thought. An otherworldly romance between a super hot prince and a hottie in a kimono!! It’s very cute and wholesome. I loved the idea and it was fairly light for a yaoi.
