Anna's manga / #Historical(26)

I had started reading this in a different place and absolutely loved it. It revolves around Edna and the hardships she went through thanks to her father's sins. Although she herself never hurt others like her father she throughout the story tries to make up for things. Her guilt eats up at her because she feels she could have done so much more for her kingdom had she been stronger and less scared. It's a good story about personal growth and forgiveness. As well as being filled with intrigue, drama, action, and romance. I feel the author did a pretty good job when it came to showing us the main characters background story as well as a few of the side characters. Also if you are interested I believe there was a sequel in which we see our original main cast but it does revolve around future events and new main characters.

How it starts grabs your attention and slowly introduces things. It's interesting to see a female lead who is truly strong and not just looking for love. All the male leads, except for 1, seem to deserve to be near her but that doesn't distract the female lead from her job. I also like the fact that you do see her grow and change. With her around others change and grow as well. Overall not a bad story.
