They won’t have a reason to be together especially if guy doesn’t get over his crush. Besides that he puts his trust in him that he will come back to him and in the end he did. They are both still together happily and reciprocating each others feelings. Senior didn’t graduate along with his friend and guy did his entrance exams but didn’t end up going to college.
