This is not yaoi. I repeat, this is not yaoi. This is not Shounen Ai either. This is just an ecchi seinen work. And a great one, at that. In the hall of fame for Ecchi Seinen and gender bender works.

Somehow I was never able to get into this. The comedy was dry, and even the idea of alchemy was trite at best. But I guess it is popular, so you might want to read it.

So goddamn beautiful. I almost cried at parts of it.

Fun fact: This was the first manga I ever read. And the anime was the first ever anime I watched. It has some memories with me - hearing the OP and realizing I could skip it, and things like that.
