Ore no Pants ga Hitojichi ni Torarete Imasu
The Wicked Prince and The Helpless Pup
How I wish this had ended: After that scene where Hiroki forces himself onto Kouhei for the last time and Kouhei ran out of the room after some pretty harsh and cruel things were said to him he goes home and wonders why the person he loves hates him so much. Then two weeks pass without the two seeing or interacting with each other when the two bump into each other, Kouhei looks at him with a pained but serious face saying something similar to the line in Moulin Rouge "Thank you for curing me of my delusional obsession with love." and then leaves. Skip some years and they are now working and have graduated college, they bump into each other again. Something to do with a temp partnership between their companies and they are being introduced to each other. By this point Kouhei has mostly mended his wound, he still has a scar from his experience with Hiroki, he has accepted that he is bi and has had a couple of partners. He has matured a lot and no longer loves Hiroki but he doesn't hate him either, he doesn't think about him often even. Hiroki still loves him though but before Hiroki can say anything Kouhei introduces himself and acts like they have never met, only talking with him when he needs to and treating Hiroki like he would any coworker he hardly knows. Then through the perspective we see Hiroki come to the realization that if he ever had a chance with Kouhei he long since missed it and it was his fault, maybe at least he could finally move on from his love and at least try to be friends with Kouhei once again. (It should be said that when Kouhei said that line to Hiroki he was completely series and disillusioned with love to some degree, by the time the two would meet at then end Kouhei would have done lots of learning, putting himself back together, and some realizing before he was comfortable with entering relationships romantically.)
