It’s a shame such beautiful art was wasted on something this gross. I really wanted to enjoy it but I couldn’t even make it past the first few chapters. I’d hoped we’d gotten tired of these damaging and cliche BL tropes. Not an ounce of originality. No weight or nuance is given to topics it should be given to, making the writing feel very lazy and uninspired. The characters are insufferable, really dumb, poorly written, and so cliche, making them impossible to care about.
Don’t settle for this trash, we can do better than this. If you want an actually interesting BL that does the rich seme and poor, debt-ridden uke trope done well, go read A Thousand Cranes and/or The Foul.
