Dropping this. The premise is really good, I love revenge + found family type stories but the FL has 0 backbone, extremely passive, a crybaby and lets her self be shat on way too much. Like huh? Didnt you go back to CHANGE things before your death, if so why are you acting the exact same as always??? Literally so many of the misunderstandings she has could be cleared up if she JUST ASKED. Youre the Grand Duchess, second only to the Imperial family and your letting rumors fly about you, huh??? Additionally, what is this marriage dilemna with Sif?? Why didn't they burn the marriage contract at the scene? How is it valid if it was signed under duress (can anyone just kidnap a person and force them to marry them if they force them what?) in addition how can she marry sif- IF SHE IS ALREADY MARRIED TO THE GRAND DUKE???? Am I missing something because it doesn't seem like should be possible. In addition the knights are literally the most useless creatures alive, how are you going to let the Grand Duchess going to get kidnapped so easily?? Aren't they supposed be the best in the Empire???? ALSO why didn't the Duke just chop off sifs head right then and there. He just let him go? Personally, if it were me, and I saw my wife in that position I wouldn't have let that slide. Some Duke is he if he cant even use his force to protect his wife- fake or no.
Anyways this is why I stan Duke Floyen instead- He WOULD NEVER.
