Ten Count
4.5/5 stars. Beautiful art. Really, really love the art. Has some of the most well-drawn sexy scenes ever. The plot is okay; the characters are interesting and beautifully designed, and their relationship is also unique. There are fluff and some angst, but the conclusion of their relationship is satisfying enough. Tho, tbh, I am not a big fan of the ending. Light BDSM. Top is a service top. It was really hot.
Fools
AAAAAAAA. This is one of the best gem I accidentally found. To be honest, when I first read the summary, I didn't think I would like it a lot. But after reading a few chapters, I got instantly hooked. I really love the art and coloring style--the mint and yellow design are cute, and the characters are also well-designed. Moreover, the characters are really good-looking? Eungi has no rights being that handsome;;;; It started as a typical webtoon of two guys falling in love: the confusions, the misunderstandings, the courting, and the past relationship. Though it was a slow burn, I personally think it was developed well. It was really sweet, and yet, by the end--I feel like it has a very mature message. I felt like shedding a few tears at the ending, even though it was a happy one.
Raising a Bat
I thought it was a vampire BDSM+ webtoon, but it turns out to be much more. A vampire/human webtoon, it has an unconventional story with complex and deep characters as well as relationship. It is not a light reading; instead, there were a lot of "dark" themes. Sent me to tears a few times, however the ending is extremely satisfactory. Definitely worth reading.
Anta Nante Daikirai
Rating: 4.5/5 A story about two idiots falling in love. It's a manga about the cliche "my new boss is my one night stand" prompt; but it was executed well. For a 1-volume manga, it was well-paced with adorable relationship development. Cute, fluffy, and totally sweet. A manga totally worth reading!!
Totsugimasen Kara!
This manga is an A/B/O manga with a very shoujo-esque plot and cliches; the characters, the relationship dynamics, the conflicts--all are something typical of a shoujo manga. However, it is still quite an enjoyable read. The main couple are cute together; they are both idiots trying to process their feelings. Sweet, fluffy, and cute; an adorable and innocent work!!! OH, and bonus point for CONSENT! CONSENT! IS! SEXY!!! Light reading; not many conflicts or drama.
Can't take my eyes off you
Originally, I enjoy this quite a bit; the characters are all so adorable. However, the plot eventually feels very rushed. The ending left much to be desired. There are several unanswered plot-holes, and the relationship between the main characters are not properly explored. Adorable art, though!!
Dasadanan
A cliche story, but was very heartwarming, cute, and fluffy. Let's go lesbian!!!
Hana No Miyako De
Rating: 4.5/5 This one... is beautiful, yet heartbreaking. The couple is pretty generic; the second son of a rich family and his childhood friend from a different social class. The night they spend together, the wedding scene in which Motoharu can just lounge around with bunch of Good Fortune slips.... This manga broke my heart and leave me crying.
Kiraide Isasete
TW: past r*pe, attempted r*pe (not between main couple), past teen pregnancy, minor discussion of abortion. i...... i am really picky when it comes to a/b/o manga, but i would say this is one of the great ones. the manga discuss some very important issue rarely seen in other a/b/o manga, which i really appreciate. the very real negative consequences a sexual abuse victim often face are portrayed really well here: the trauma, the self-blame, the victim-blaming, the stigma and unfair discrimination, the struggle of being a single parent, the difficulty of getting a good job, the vulnerability of their economic condition. the fact that the sexual abuse perpetrator didn’t face any consequence? it’s a really sad fact, but unfortunately that’s what often happens in real life. another thing that i absolutely love is how the alpha keeps mentioning how strong the omega is; i don’t know, i really love this particular detail. empower sexual abuse victims yall!!! additional important point is how the issue of sexism is brought up here; i was honestly floored when the manga brings up how an alpha is considered “brave” for protecting an omega who just got shamed for being who they are. that’s... that’s a real issue happening between right now, and i’m happy it got addressed. i also rlly love the alpha ML; he’s a real one. the way he emphasis on consent and respecting omega? damn, we need more alpha this type. however, i wouldn’t say that this manga is without flaw. but for all the manga has done, i am willing to give them a pass.
