Meh634 caught in 720p's manga / #Psychological(56)

Didn't even finish to the ending, read spoilers and I'd just be ANNOYED and DISGUSTED If I kept reading. Nothing happens to the classmates who r*pe him. And the MC wasn't even the main perpetrator of the bullying back in the day, so I don't understand why he was targeted. MC does escape, but gets kidnapped again by the escape room planner and basically r*pes him till he becomes dependent and falls in love.

This was a pointless read for me, as I didn't really again anything from it. All of the characters were victims of the white haired girl, and even the relationships outside of the white-haired girl were questionable and uncomfy. Most of the characters weren't likeable to begin with, except for the red-head on the cover.

This is a good, well-written story. But it certainly isn't for the lighthearted, as it delves heavily into the psychological aspect with its many depressing and darker elements. I find the 2 MCs real af just trying to cope with their traumas and their situations, trying to lean on each other and give/find some sense of healing. First part is hard to get through, it does get better BUT it's an emotional rollercoaster all around. I think the journey is worth it just for the main couple tho, they have some very cute moments when they're together. This is all imho ofc. I read this in increments (bc of the uploading breaks), with time to thoroughly digest between each break I took, so the outlook might be different if you read this all in one sitting. It can be a lot and your brain might gloss over some things as a result. By far not the darkest or saddest thing to read, but it's certainly pulled at my heart strings.

I understand that trauma bonding is a real thing, I'm familiar with it, but still, I'm sick of plots like these with Stockholm syndrome. Specifically ones with unsatisfying developments that have the abused stick with their abuser. Like we have so many of those already. Authors need to address the ISSUE of abuse more instead of making it seem sexy?? Idk. This is obviously unfinished so idk how the author will end this, but I don't see the point of making certain scenes so long, aka ones with lots of "sexy" smut between the victim/abuser.
