Perfect Buddy
I wasn't expecting this to be one of the loveliest relationships I've seen depicted in media in the longest time. Maybe it's because I see myself in Seo and wish for the stability that relationship and love can offer. I haven't chuckled so hard at a BL in ages, Baek feels so human you can almost feel yourself fall in love with his character. Seo is a wonderfully entertaining protagonist and balances so well with Baek's. Reading from his POV is such an experience, I've lived his story before in some way and seeing it being put down into words is strangely healing to me. It's so hopeful seeing these two fictional dudes, makes me feel like anyone has the potential to be loved. They're both fully realised characters which is surprisingly a stand out among other BLs these days, mostly they're just cardboard cutouts made to fulfill a trope and kind of just shallow and hard to resonate with. I guess I'm just a sucker for character focused stories. I can just tell the writer puts their very soul into these characters and you can feel the love they have for them here. Hahaha what the hell I'm so mentally ill
