Red-Haired James
At first, I wasn't sure if I'd be into a story of a grown man adopting a kid who'd fall in love with him. But! This is nothing like I've imagined, the love, the pain, the hurt, the fluffiness, everything is so expertly woven together. I absolutely adore James and Henry, I'm in love with the story that's amazingly complex and full or emotions. I love Janet, the woman who became like a mom to James. I can't get enough of this story! Also, the super slow burn romance is really appropriate considering the setup, and I'm here for it. Highly recommend!
K's secret
So, I started reading this expecting a vampire romance. Now, it's super interesting as a story, but the relationship between the uke and the seme is extremely toxic. The seme is often abusive, doesn't care about the uke's consent, and once, he even hit him. He's also extremely emotionally manipulative, but the most terrifying thing about him is that he actually believes he's a good person and that he's treating the one he loves kindly. This would be ok if it were meant as horror, but, since it's yaoi, it's brushed off, even romanticized.
Eve and Eve
The first story made me rethink my whole life Second story was also beautiful, so much love Fuck the third one, they're both cheaters
Your wish is my command
I'm conflicted about this. We've learned that Chiwoo's and Hwan's feelings are mutual, but the way Hwan basically fucked Chiwoo while he was asleep rubbed me the wrong way. He didn't know Chiwoo was into him too, he didn't know the guy would probably like it since he was thirsting for him too. What Hwan did was rape. I don't like that. Also, the cute purple-haired guy that has a crush on Chiwoo seems like a much better choice. Update: Fuck this shit. I loved Make Me Bark from the same author, but this is absolute trash with pretty artwork. God. It doesn't get better, it only gets worse. Chiwoo, run! 2nd Update: Chiwoo realizes how fucked up everything is, how toxic, insane, and possessive Hwan is, and breaks up with him. Literally the best possible ending and why I'm raising my rating.
