I avoided it at first but I gave it a try seeing the good reviews I must say that I am glad I did it. It has one of the best plots I have read in a while, very intriguing. I haven’t read many psychological and “noir” (in a certain sense) BLs. But it was very well developed imo and gripping. It wasn’t just about sex. I loved depth the author put into developing the characters and the details of the story. The charas are 3 dimensional and realistic. She gave many explanations about murders, forensic science and also about the psychologist disorders. It’s true it has some cliche but they are not necessarily bad, it depends on how you use them. Lastly I loved Kang Moo’s character and his complex relationship with Kirin very much. Very much recommended!

Of all the bdsm themed stories I have read this one is maybe the most explored one in the topic, I really liked it

I LOVE MC' S EXPRESSIONS, they crack me up and also the other cute expressions. This is an omegaverse slightly different from others. MC will stay as beta (and won't change to another secondary gender). He considers alphas and omegas as though living in their own separated world from beta and doesn't want to get too involved with them(there is also another reason we discover later) ML is a green forest that never pressures too much the MC with his feelings, MC will also have a bit of development in the later chapters and will change his view on alpha/omegas/beta and also dating. I have yet to read the second couple in the side stories, i found them a bit annoying... SPOILERS MC was actually always in love with his friend, who is an alpha. i felt his friend actually liked him, he actually did. He would tell MC he was delusional when he thought someone liked him (he was being jelous). But neither of them confessed, i felt so sorry. But they resolved it pretty well as adults, they were too young and immature at the time (right person, wrong time) and they will move from those feelings and continue as great friends.

Beginning was kinda cute. It’s good how it turned out in the end and I really liked the ML’s POV. However I find the misunderstanding and the time skip in the military lasted too long and the misunderstanding was kinda dumb in a way because it was just because ML can’t express himself well when it’s about MC and MC lets his own ideas and imagination take over reasoning and comunication. The title applies to both of them, they each thought the other was unkind just toward them But still it wasn’t too long, they look so cute and hot together :)
