Obey Me
This comic kind of reminds me of a different version of redemption camp and honestly they're both good comics with characters that didn't deserve what they got to them;even if they were bad people before hand. This book honestly got to me and it feel nice to have a main character that was relatable and that we could sympathize with because of what his amnesia ended up putting him though.
An Uncomfortable Truth
This was the most twisted incest story I've ever read in my life. I love how the main character was self-aware about his brother's behavior and was willing to turn it around. The story was so good I forgot that it was a flashback. The characters were easy to get attached to and the author was not afraid to kill off the main character. I would definitely recommend this; it was such a good read!
Hotel Phryne
I liked this story! It was so suspenseful and reading each chapter constantly put me in some sort of mood. I loved both characters and the overall plot. Each part of Hyung's personality made into a single person and then one of them sacrificing himself to save everyone else just got me and I just loved it. I gave off that kind of Danganronpa vibe from start to finish and I think that if the story was ended up being horror it definitely could pass as one.
White Angels Have No Wings
This was, in many ways, hard to read. You'd go in thinking that it's not going to be that bad, but then it smacks you with all of this traumatic stuff all at once. Our main character dragged into it, whilst multiple side characters get their fair share of the absolute craziness that is the 'White Angels' Series. It puts to use every sort of toxic relationship you can think of and uses them in an appropriate manner. This really scares me to how manipulative and toxic the characters were around each other. Overall this is a comic you can learn from and I really enjoy reading it.
The Devil's Boy
I binged this book in two days and I loved it. The art style and plot were so good and very interesting. I loved all the characters even the bad ones and personally found the story entertaining to read. The main character becoming stronger from some kind of ability was an overused trope but this story really redeemed itself with it. I love the main and assisting characters. The story actually reminds me a lot of The Seven Deadly Sins and I am the Grim Reaper. The main character is a demon, which is usually portrayed as the bad guy. And the antagonists that try to stop him are angels, who are constantly seen as the good guys.
Save Me
I don't even know what to say about the psychological warfare that is Save me. It starts off okay but then you get hit with all of these crazy plots that look like plotholes but end up being foundation instead. The main character being bullied for being wheelchair-bound and the new student is revealed to be his twin brother that got separated by birth. The fact that the brother is a sociopath was frightening when I pick up on it. Just merciless and over but being dark in general for the sake of protecting the person he'd been looking for all that time. But he wasn't like your generic sociopath and I think that's what I liked about his character.
Appetite
I honestly can't help but like this series. I binged the whole story in a day and I absolutely fell in love with it. I loved the characters and the entire plot was so good! The build-up to the climax was amazing and the climax its self was so good I don't even have words to describe how good it was. The characters were amazing and you had to love them. I mean, how could you not? They were so likable and every motive had a meaning regardless of if the person was an antagonist and a protagonist. I would definitely read this again and would recommend it to people. I hate how long it took me to get into this but I'm so glad I found it and finished it.
The Horizon
Reading this made me cry. Not only did it teach me the importance of survival but it taught me about how I should treat the concept of life, death, and loneliness. It can be handled in many ways depending on your will to keep moving forward. This is definitely a must-read. The message and story will not disappoint.
