Aaaalmost a 5. I just need to see some more development in the romance department, and hopefully sibling love. Sort of a weird one but interesting. The acting crazy thing doesn't last long. The fun part is figuring out what's going on and enjoying the eyecandy.

Was thinking of giving it a 5 until they introduced the second ML. What the fuck is wrong with this guy and the author too for thinking this is acceptable? That piece of trash pretty much forces himself on Elenor when she's obviously not interested just because he's jealous that the actual ML is better than him. Like you suck so your solution isn't accepting your faults or being proud of your accomplishments as you are but stealing another dude's woman to being your fragile self esteem up? And even if this was true love not saying a word when you find out she's poisoned and instead taking her to your place when she's in no condition to refuse (which she couldn't anyway because of her social standing) is still fucking outrageous. Then, he adds even more fuel to the fire by taking off his clothes and sleeping in the same bed WHILE SHE'S UNCONSIOUS! WTF?! For all we know he could've fucking raped her and I will not be surprised if next chapter he tells her to take responsibility like it's her fault for being a victim. And she's hardly perfect either. First you fuck a guy then leave him high and dry when he proposes? If society is such an issue you should've thought about that before doing him. If it's mutual love on both sides at least try to make it work instead of running with your tail between your legs, the worst that could happen is you have to cross the border together and live off his riches in some rural village.

Maaybee a 5. Having a strong FL that helps the ML is pretty cool, but she's still doing the same song and dance as every other manhwa like this of planning to run away later. EDIT: FL's been pissing me off these last couple chapters

The sister is unnecessary but otherwise solid. Maybe I'm being too generous with the 5 but at this point anything that doesn't make me feel like reading it is a chore for even a moment is considered impressive. EDIT: I'm not depressed anymore lmao this is a 4.

I seem to have forgotten an actual review so here goes: Not all is as it seems immediately, they drop quite the bombshell in like chapter 2 or 3. ML/brother (which is it? both??) is kind of a dick but this isn't anything new to the genre and he shows some improvement pretty quick. I can't wait for him to get that stick out of his ass though, seems like it would be super cute.

Know what? It's pretty good. Kinda nice to see an FL just kinda getting shit done. It's not exactly realistic with the only explanation for her strength being that she was a cop and stayed in shape and the fighting in heels but I don't think it needs to be. I like that she dresses sexy too, gives me femme fatale vibes.
