Seduce the Villain's Father
The romance is so cute, I can't wait for them to get together! It's hard not to like the love interest and the MC is relatable in her attempts to win his affection. EDIT: The newest season is kinda weird, they feel like different people. I'm sure the translation isn't helping.
Why are you doing this, my Duke!? Webtoon
They're certainly not stingy with the fanservice and I live for it. The romance progresses naturally (despite what it sounds like). I've never been a fan of drama that all stems from stupid arguments the couple have, so I'm glad that common element of shoujo was replaced with an actual plot. EDIT: Ending is lowkey disappointing. I don't think all that had to be shoehorned in there. Or if it was, giving it more time to simmer would be nice. If we're lucky the side stories can fix that. EDIT 2: My internet died and I didn't get to post this edit before. The gist of it is that because of how the plot and ending work a lot of the progress we've had is now effectively meaningless, and the side stories might as well be a soft reboot where we're trying to get back to where we were at before, just more boring when you account for the parts that have changed. They really done fucked up. EDIT 3: It's pretty garbage after the asspull "ending" thing with 30 more sloppy fix-it chapters.
Sincerely: i Became a Duke’s Maid
For a long while there I was unsure but ended up enjoying it. Also this isn't pedo, they're only four years apart and our man gets a growth spurt.
Survive as the Hero's Wife
It's good but there's really no reason for the main couple to still not be together when we're already in the third season. It did scratch that itch for a cuter rather than stoic male lead. The art is really nice as well. EDIT: I guess it didn't take too much longer for them to work it out, I can happily recommend it now.
Doctor Elise
I'm not really digging most of the medical parts, and some of mc's personal decisions if I'm being honest. At least they're not stingy with the pda once the main couple (finally) becomes an item.
The Duchess with an Empty Soul
To be honest, the scanlator drama and reveal of her fiance being gay were just as good as the actual plot. I like the protagonist not being useless. There isn't really enough relationship development for me to say much about the romance. In this case you either like the story or you give up, because there's nothing else that could carry the series. EDIT: most of this is moot by now, they're dating now and it's pretty cute. They've gone down the same path as most other stories and started bringing up prejudice against women. Call me sexist but I've seen this same thing play out so many times I just want to move on. I'm not here for a moral lesson on how bad x group had it in y time.
La Dolce Vita di Adelaide
If I'm being honest, the way they handled the romance could have been better. There's also the weird page layout and mc being reincarnated that was hardly even mentioned after the start. Overall the whole mind game/betrayal thing was the best part. The characters have a reverse of the problem that plagues shoujo, the FL is the one that gets all the personality while ML is just a surface level shy guy. The ending kinda sucked but I'd say it's down to personal preference if you like it or not.
Emperor, Stay Here, Your Knight's Getting Off Work
GIVE ME MORE Edit: It's still pretty good but some parts could be improved.
The Villainess Lives Twice
MC with a brain! And not just any brain, she's actually somewhat of a genius at scheming. The guy isn't some cold jerk (not that I don't like them but it's nice to have someone kind sometimes). Idk wtf is going to happen to the updates though. Trying to read the updates from the previous scanlators is basically impossible and the person who uploaded the last chapter said they're not doing it again. EDIT: So apparently I loved this? Lmfao can't remember a thing I'd have to reread it all to see. I thought this was borderline garbage and that's why I haven't touched it in so long.
