The Duchess of the Attic

Ongoing | mori,aoi fuyuko; hayashi maki | 2000 released

I was hoping for one of those "you fucked up and now it's too late, goodbye forever" kind of scenes but it didn't happen. I love it when somebody is shown all their mistakes and they have to wallow in regret and guilt. Stella hasn't gotten her just desserts yet. It's a pretty decent series if you just wanna see a girl succeed in life. I would've liked it more if she divorced him, kicked everyone out, then built herself a life with Claude while managing the territory.

Happy Ending for the Time-Limited Villainess

Ongoing | Harasyo, 류호,Salmon | 2020 released

Cool premise, nice ml, cute secondary love interests. With only 8 chapters that's about as good as it gets. EDIT: More chapters out now, bumped the rating. At first it's cute and funny, but with the introduction of a well thought out plot it's become even better. For one, Clea actually matters past providing a body for FL to inhabit despite truly being dead. EDIT 2: back to 4, just because it feels like it hasn't been progressing much on the romantic front. They keep teasing it but without the commitment.

Please Throw Me Away

Ongoing | 자은향,채로 | 2019 released

I feel like it could be deserving of 5 stars but there's very little romantic development going on so that's all I can give. EDIT: Forgot to mention they did start dating, but something is still holding the series back and I can't quite put my finger on it.

Your Majesty Is Mine

Complete | Doyeon, ARA , 도연&,ARA | 2000 released

Forgot to review, far from the pinnacle of storytelling. Good enough if you just want a simple palette cleanser. Fair bit of the screentime is just porn but hey, I'm desperate enough for more stuff to read that I'll look for plot here.

Maou no Migiude ni Nattanode Gensaku Kaiaku Shimasu

Ongoing | Kimura,Jiro_alba | 2019 released

As per usual, I much prefer series where the FL is already in love so this gets a bunch of brownie points to start off with. She uses her knowledge to help out (making up for her utter lack of magic). Demon king is one of those awkward nice types that's used to everybody hating him. All around solid although it hasn't been long enough for much to happen.

The Seamstress Girl

Ongoing | Zeroki,Yukimura yuni | 2019 released

I read the whole thing and realized I don't like it anymore. Hate it when they bring in other women for no reason since they generally have annoying personalities and serve little purpose, same reason I don't read that many harems. There's also no reason for her to be reincarnated. ML being an older dude is interesting but having two previous wives and a kid is a big no-no. Her personality is fine though, better plain than a wimp that only knows how to run away.

I Won't Become a Villainess. I'm Just a "Normal" Duke's Daughter!

Ongoing | Mei.,Yuhazu | 2019 released

Forgot to rate this one too. Catboy is cute, otherwise sub par.

The Former Structural Researchers Story of Otherworldly Adventure

Ongoing | Inusha mamoru,Inuya Mamoru,Kirisawa Juuzou | 2019 released

FL is kinda dumb, constantly trying to help shitty people and refusing to accept power for no reason...

The Plain & Unnoticeable Me is No More

Ongoing | Oomori mikan,Sumiyoshi yukiko | 2019 released

The romance is too messy. They introduced a forgotten childhood friend that she clearly had a thing for but are pushing another dude as the ML.

Fiancée of the Wizard

Complete | Nakamura Syuri | 2000 released

Hard to say if it's a 3 or 4 because by the end of it I was too exhausted to leave a review. From what I can piece together of my memories, it started off strong then went downhill, then plateaud. The mc really doesn't speak up for herself as much as she should, and the angst aspect isn't developed enough for it to be an enjoyable tragedy instead. It's hard to decide if the ML is bad or good. As a kid he seemed nice just kinda dumb, teenager went full imbecile but still had good intentions, at the reunion it became a bit inexcusable and I really wish the FL called him out on it instead of just brushing over everything when they "make up". He sort of redeemed himself at the end but eh... The reincarnation aspect is pretty useless as well, they try to tie it in like she accepts her other self but the whole thing feels tacky and has no lasting effects.
