I Took Away the Tyrant’s Virginity

Ongoing | | 2022 released

It's alright. Not that interesting but at least they're not annoying with the running away thing 95% of these use. I don't care about the villains sob story though, I can smell something bad coming from a mile away and I just know MC is gonna be stupid and sympathetic.

My Lucky Encounter From The Game Turned Into Reality

Ongoing | | 2022 released

The irl stuff is very good but I don't dig the vr game aspect. We don't actually know a whole lot about his powers so it's more of a strategy/political series than action.

The Crown Prince That Sells Medicine

Ongoing | | 2022 released

Honestly the hack medicine didn't leave a good first impression but it's pretty good so far. I like the strange metaphors for organs like the lungs being tapdancing twins lmao. MC is cute and I like the other characters. The system is kinda starting to expand so it might turn out more interesting, so far it's just fine. Plot like his goals and whatnot has gotten my interest since it's beyond just trying to run away and survive.

Reincarnator (Manhwa)

Ongoing | | 2022 released

I kept getting deja vu while reading this. I wonder did I drop it before or something. Sadly last chap he started going solo with the one annoying pretty girl, I hope they're not trying to set up a romance. Every time she does the logical thing anyone would've done he's like "ah yes she's adjusting so well" and I hate it but at least he's not simping. He's a bit too nice for my taste but only in the sense that he wants a large amount of people to survive, personally he's happy to chop off legs and shit if it's deemed necessary. I was hoping the one tired boy would be on good terms with MC but it doesn't seem likely. I feel weird tagging this isekai but it technically is another world.

To deny the route

Ongoing | Honey trap,Saessak, EDLO | 2022 released

I'd have given it a 5 for originality but the plot is just so infuriating. There's a lot of assholes that get little to no justice served and some of them are meant to be liked. The time skips aren't very graceful either. Ilya was great but of course they have to ruin it by making him secretely crazy, who tf do they think is in to this? Why are they so allergic to normal good LI's? Jerry is kinda dumb too. He can ignore everything the book says and just do his own thing when the story deviated so much already, easy enough to just treat Ilya well and teach him how to be a functioning member of society while he's still young, at this point he'd listen to Jerry even if he really is psycho, and I don't even think he's that far gone yet. He probably would go off the deep end if you suddenly distance yourself like an idiot though... EDIT: It's improved in recent chapters so I've bumped it to 5.

I'm a Doll, but the Tyrant Is Obsessed With Me

Ongoing | Dae nam,Jin yu-rim,Mapungak | 2022 released

An all rounder. Decent in every aspect, but nothing exceptional. I hope they use her being a doll for something unique. ML is fine but he loses some appeal once the reveal comes, he's still obsessed with his sister to his own detriment and can be unreasonable because of it.

Crowning My Feral Prince

Complete | Salted man | 2019 released

Kept getting close to becoming good and just didn't. I like how gradual ML's progress is (mostly, near the end there's a massive jump that's never explained) and his personality is great. Honestly I hate all the side characters even the ones that are supposed to be good. The ending doesn't make that much sense either ngl. FL actually having sympathy for ML instead of only caring about herself is refreshing considering this is still another case of "I have to make money and run away" syndrome. Her being reincarnated barely matters it's just an excuse for why she wants to run away and the scene where she changes her mind isn't nearly good enough to justify it.

I Became the Younger Sister of a Regretful Obsessive Male Lead

Ongoing | Purple Lemon,Debin | 2000 released

Hovered between 3 and 4 stars. The ideas are there but execution leaves some to be desired. Like the ramifications of that time skip barely have time to sink in before we return to status quo, same with the beastmen getting kicked out. FL is also of the passive variety, which is a shame because she really has her moments like the motivation to help Lucien and when she got angry at the prince. At least she's otherwise an interesting character, her abandonment issues stemming from her past get some development. It's nice to have an FL that's not obsessed with not changing the story. ML is kind of a red flag but he does seem to realize his wrongs even if that scene was a little clumsy.
