Return of the Female Knight
Um... Same thing as the previous one? Can't really remember much outside the basics. Slightly more potential since FL is completely devoted to ML (not in a romantic way *sigh*) from the start.
Ripe When the Flowers Bloom
Why does this guy keep giving creepy vibes without committing? I'm not in to toxic relationships so it'd be nice to know for certain. He seems nice giving mc a choice then turns around and goes "oh yeah, if he refused I would have done *beeeeeep*". God, it could have been so cute if I wasn't busy worrying over this. EDIT: Dropped, I hear he does go yandere and is forgiven way too easily.
Incompetent Villain
At first, I thought it was about a nice guy trying to act tough, then a chuuni, and finally an unfortunate asshole. There's no way of telling how far his villain activities went before this started. My assumption is he was never documented but did enough bad deeds to earn himself a life sentence. Things are getting pretty heated in the latest chapters, like a set up for a mind game. EDIT: I have a suspicion that this got axed, the ending is pretty sudden. A whole lot of wasted potential that turns trash after the first few chapters.
Cat in a Cardboard Box
Not without it's flaws but pretty cool, and catboys make everything better.
Villain To Kill
Maybe it'll be good, maybe not. All I can say is the side characters and even some extras are hot. I'm liking the idea of mc proving people with the villain predesposition don't have to be bad, even though there's no evidence that's where the story is heading. Would be a cool megamind like turn.
Holy Idol
I was under the impression this is a shoujo reincarnation. Turns out it's about a medieval priest (with actual holy powers) transmigrating to the body of a modern day idol about to make his debut. It goes about as well as you'd expect which is both comedic genius and second hand embarrassment torture. If that black haired guy turns out to be from his original world I'll give it 5 stars since it'll give us a more concrete goal than "return" and push the narrative along.
A Strange Life
It was good until around the 20th chapter where everything turns to shit. FL was never exactly courageous but at least she wasn't useless, now she does nothing but misunderstand, cause misunderstandings, and get in trouble. ML is honestly a great guy and deserves better than a backstabbing "friend" and a love interest that sits around twiddling her thumbs all day. I've put up with bad FL's before, so what's different this time is the forced love triangle. The second lead is irredeemable scum and FL trusts him for literally no reason while constantly doubting ML. This piece of shit kidnapped you the same day you find out he supposedly loves you and you think he's a great guy for not abusing you when you turned him down?! That's not how love works! He tried to get someone else to give away your private information without your consent woman! And you were fucking there to witness the whole thing. Like, how is that romantic? Let's not forget he seems to have fallen in love completely out of nowhere. He didn't care about her until she disappeared, never even had a single conversation, and now you're telling me he's head over heels because... reasons? At best he feels guilty but if that was the case then he wouldn't be trying to get her in to his home even though she's clearly had no problems staying with ML up until now. ML even calls him out on his nefarious motives. Edit: Works out ok if you read from chapter 40 onwards.
Limit Breaker
Very cool. For once mc is unapologetically strong and doesn't go around hiding it. The side characters aren't anything to write home about though.
Your wish is my command
I'm not in to yaoi but damn... The magical boy stuff is actually a really fun take (when he's not getting railed). All the scenarios are really interesting and his costumes look cool. The story is surprisingly deep, things really take a turn later on... I like the romance as well, they're both cute and adorable when with each other. There's this one questionable new plot point that might be a dealbreaker depending on how it plays out. EDIT: Yeah that thing I mentioned just keeps getting worse. Don't look in topics if you don't wanna get spoiled. Too curious to drop though, hoping they'll salvage this mess somehow. EDIT 2: Wow, I'm shocked they're actually going through with it. Even in other yaoi that do this kind of thing they never treat it in a realistic way. This is the only time I wish they went on with their happy ending bs when it's obviously unreasonable though.
