How to Tame the Merciless Villain
An MC who's aware that running away isn't really a good option, how are these still rare? She's far from a genius but at least she got the basics down. ML is very cute but I sorta feel like he's gonna end up going down the yandere path at some point. Please I just want one LI that stays cute, not a secret psycho. I'm putting it down as supernatural and not fantasy because it seems like everything else is normal and it's just a few people with magic.
To deny the route
I'd have given it a 5 for originality but the plot is just so infuriating. There's a lot of assholes that get little to no justice served and some of them are meant to be liked. The time skips aren't very graceful either. Ilya was great but of course they have to ruin it by making him secretely crazy, who tf do they think is in to this? Why are they so allergic to normal good LI's? Jerry is kinda dumb too. He can ignore everything the book says and just do his own thing when the story deviated so much already, easy enough to just treat Ilya well and teach him how to be a functioning member of society while he's still young, at this point he'd listen to Jerry even if he really is psycho, and I don't even think he's that far gone yet. He probably would go off the deep end if you suddenly distance yourself like an idiot though... EDIT: It's improved in recent chapters so I've bumped it to 5.
The Maid and Her Favorite King of Darkness
Far from peak fiction but it's alright. They don't explain things all that well but sort of assume we have more info than we do, eg what his curse is. MC might be a bit dumb but possibly there's a reason we haven't been told on why she can't do the obvious and tattle on the traitor fuck. At least she's well meaning, like she's genuinely interested in doing what she can to help the poor suffering guy instead of just running away because the FL or whatever might show up 10 years later. I know irl most people that effectively know the future would just take the path of least resistance towards their own safety but this is fiction and that kind of prophet is just boring imo. ML is sort of getting worse though, seems he always has sex on his mind and feels more possessive than romantic.
The Villain’s Daughter Plans to Run Away
Kinda odd, dad pulls a 180 and then just leaves for a while. It makes enough sense though. I like MC here, she starts off just wanting to run away but quickly realizes she doesn't actually want to just abandon everyone. She's not all that capable but she's not stupid either so it works. The whole thing with Cyan (ML?) is confusing, they have like one convo but then next time they see each other he's pretty friendly, then when he finds out she's a noble he stonewalls her but because we only see her perspective it's not really clear what's up with him or even what went down when she wasn't with him.
The Last Adventurer
Not much to say. It's good but not sure if it's going to be great just yet.
Reborn as the Enemy Prince
Forgot to rate but it was great. I hope it comes back eventually. MC is really fun and the side characters (villains included) interesting. Don't really remember the overall plot tbh. The art is good too. EDIT:The plot twist with Plants hit me like a truck omg I'm crying.
The Great Mage of the Hero’s Party Reincarnates
Meh. It feels like barely anything has happened so far. The girl he meets at the academy is so annoying, she's useless but got a massive ego. She rides on his coattails too His goal isn't that interesting either. I'm kinda hoping the magic saves this but he's not really the type to show his abilities or put people in their place.
It Was Love at First Sight, Mr. Villain!
FL is only pretending to love ML BC she suspects him of being a murderer and wants to spy on him. She's kinda weird like she's book smart ig but she lacks common sense imo. She still thinks he's the killer but at this point there's no evidence. Turns out the killer does not need to be a tall man because it's poison disguised as strangling, the knot is used by everyone who's been to the military academy and presumably people from the region it originated from, and honestly the book bio saying he's a suspect basically confirms he's innocent. If he's actually the culprit then you've ruined all suspense and it feels like a spoiler. If mystery isn't the focus then there's no reason not to state he's the culprit outright. ML is surprisingly cute when you see things from his perspective. I don't have a problem with 2nd ML but I don't like how they're pushing him, it feels artificial to build drama between main couple.
I'm a Doll, but the Tyrant Is Obsessed With Me
An all rounder. Decent in every aspect, but nothing exceptional. I hope they use her being a doll for something unique. ML is fine but he loses some appeal once the reveal comes, he's still obsessed with his sister to his own detriment and can be unreasonable because of it.
Everyone Regressed Except Me
