Was thinking of giving it a 5 until they introduced the second ML. What the fuck is wrong with this guy and the author too for thinking this is acceptable? That piece of trash pretty much forces himself on Elenor when she's obviously not interested just because he's jealous that the actual ML is better than him. Like you suck so your solution isn't accepting your faults or being proud of your accomplishments as you are but stealing another dude's woman to being your fragile self esteem up? And even if this was true love not saying a word when you find out she's poisoned and instead taking her to your place when she's in no condition to refuse (which she couldn't anyway because of her social standing) is still fucking outrageous. Then, he adds even more fuel to the fire by taking off his clothes and sleeping in the same bed WHILE SHE'S UNCONSIOUS! WTF?! For all we know he could've fucking raped her and I will not be surprised if next chapter he tells her to take responsibility like it's her fault for being a victim. And she's hardly perfect either. First you fuck a guy then leave him high and dry when he proposes? If society is such an issue you should've thought about that before doing him. If it's mutual love on both sides at least try to make it work instead of running with your tail between your legs, the worst that could happen is you have to cross the border together and live off his riches in some rural village.

Wasn't expecting a 5 star out of this but it happened, even if on the low end. I really like that MC thinks things through before making a decision, it's cool to see a badass that doesn't take shit from anyone but seeing him take the hit from his father and stay completely composed was a different kind of badass. Later chapters make him seem a little nuts with how he treats others but in hindsight that's how he was portrayed in the murim world pre-transmigration.

No romance so far but I'll take a good son story. Would be even better if FL got her powers back.

I can't be bothered to continue rn so review pending. She's a kid but this isn't a parental, pretty sure this adult dude is the ML, meaning the romance has locked itself in to a stalemate until the main driving force for the plot is resolved. And so far they're just not doing anything towards that.

Could become a 5. ML's personality currently isn't perfect but that's not too surprising and he looks like he'll grow up to be one hell of a hunk. FL isn't super smart or anything but imo it's fine she's not annoying so far.

The romance is so cute, I can't wait for them to get together! It's hard not to like the love interest and the MC is relatable in her attempts to win his affection. EDIT: The newest season is kinda weird, they feel like different people. I'm sure the translation isn't helping.

Lmao I forgot the review bc I was on mobile it's been months. I literally forgot this existed. I think it was decent but kinda light on the romance and not really progressing as fast as I would've liked. It's the same ol' "I have to run away so I don't die but first I'll spend 80 chapters blue balling ML".

I want to like it, but it failed to capture me. It felt like it was moving too fast without explaining enough.

Kinda forgot this one. MC can range from smart to oblivious to downright stupid which is somewhat excused by her growing up in a literal torture chamber. I don't remember much about the dad or brother tbh maybe I'll update this. And like girl why would you ever wanna leave a dukes household is the one place that could protect you from the church.

It's great but can we not with the piece of shit little girl coveting not just her belongings but her friends too? Like stealing from your guest, and then throwing a hissy fit when her entourage doesn't want to stay with you all day when they're on a holiday isn't ok. FL was in the wrong here too for asking them to stay with her, they deserve to have fun and do what they want, but they're simps so of course they won't say no to her. Should've let her die or at least left her to be a bitch alone until the healing and then told her off. Ok back to the review. Fay is beautiful and lovely very high on my list of favourite MLs. Cardin is a daddy in more ways than one, Nel is a character you wouldn't think I'd like but he really fills the role of an uncle so we'll, i wish Cardin wouldn't be so mean with him. Ard is pretty cute and a nice way to increase the character roster. For once they've made a 2nd ML that doesn't feel like he's trying to get in between the main couple he's just a friendly dude. Teto is a top tier pathetic husbando i love and want to protect and cherish him. The 2 powers thing can be nice for a bit of spice and potential OP-ness but she acts a bit too much like a kid 99% of the time, would be nice if she showed some smarts.
