Virtues of the Villainess
Everything is great except for one thing, why doesn't Hamel destroy the book and remove Kiki and Larajey's memories of it? I like that the FL is already in love though, I don't like it when the girl keeps refusing the guy for no reason. Also her undying thirst combined with mind reading abilities is pure gold. EDIT: I had to take away a star for Ginger's stupidity. I was being patient about it before but it's just too much now, makes me not want to read when every problem in the series is caused by her not using a single braincell. EDIT 2: LOL this finished half a year ago and I didn't notice. I think I couldn't be bothered to read for so long because the romance was slow and Ginger is dumb? The longer I don't read something the less I feel the desire to as well.
Sica Wolf Webtoon
Boy oh boy did I enjoy this one. Every time I thought there was a plothole, it got adressed later and in hindsight made perfect sense. Karsus appearing shirtless every 10 chapters or so was very welcome. They got together within a reasonable timeframe. The art is lovely. Not to say that I didn't have any problems with the series but overall it was a very positive experience and by the end I found myself grinning from ear to ear. EDIT: I didn't mention it before I believe to avoid spoilers but this is something that should be brought up so I'll be vague about it. Basically, somewhere really late in the series (like ch70??) Karsus randomly pulls a 180 and acts super concerning and then Sica's like "Jokes on you I'm in to that shit" and after that they go back to normal as if nothing happened. I had a real wtf bro moment when I first saw it and I'll never forget how it felt to have the wholesome fluffy atmosphere around them destroyed in an instant.
Starlight Scandal
I expected copper, and found gold. Seriously, it was so easy for them to fuck this up and yet it's so good I couldn't stop reading. At every turn I was going "Now I'm gonna drop this" and without fail I would be pleasantly surprised. At the start I thought the characters looked a little derpy but either I've grown used to it or the art improved because I never noticed it after around chapter 4. EDIT: Them actually dating feels weird now that it's happened, and I desperately hope this won't turn in to yaoi like most good series...
Dream Away
Damn this was good. I ended up forgetting the now redeemed lowkey villains and even liked their little side story (I usually hate extra couples). Even better was the fact that both of our protagonists have guts. Boy it felt good to see that dickbag put in his place almost instantly after he started shit. Later on they kinda tried to give him more backstory, and while it worked out nicely and I enjoyed it I wouldn't say I forgive him. Luckily the story wasn't trying to force me to though.
Pairing Names
As to be expected, with only 8 chapters it was rushed. Not a bad read though.
The Second Coming of Gluttony
I saw a lot of complaining about this one but it's actually good. At least if you don't have the novel to compare to. The story wasn't confusing or anything.
Miracle App Store
This was really good. It's got a good balance of comedy and seriousness. I love that the mc isn't a complete pushover. He doesn't care about women. He's able to think logically. The art is good too. I'm interested to see what'll happen next now that he has passive income and all those things got revealed near the end. EDIT: I guess that season 2 isn't coming? Bit of a non-ending but it's fine.
Reader (Chang Han-Yoon)
There aren't really any stakes to speak of but it's pretty fun. I'd say it's a good series to read after something really serious to cool off.
