Please Throw Me Away
I feel like it could be deserving of 5 stars but there's very little romantic development going on so that's all I can give. EDIT: Forgot to mention they did start dating, but something is still holding the series back and I can't quite put my finger on it.
I Stole The Male Lead's First Night
I'll bump it to 5 when they start dating. The whole review is basically a placeholder until then because I'm thirsting for the ML a bit too hard to be objective. EDIT: I decided on 3* because there's no fanservice and Ripley lowkey doesn't deserve Zeronis. Might change that again later on. Give him to me instead, I know how to treat a man right <3
Beware of the Brothers!
I like it, I really like it. But please, for the love of god, get Hari with somebody before I step in to Alabama territory. I'm already simping for Eugene and it's a very slippery slope I'm standing on. To be fair though I actually don't mind the lowkey incest, I just hate being on the losing ship's side. EDIT: Holy shit I think he's actually the ML. Fuck yeah man I don't have to hold back anymore! Wait I gave this 4 stars? Probably gonna be a 5 when I catch up. EDIT 2: Back to 4 but that might be the terrible translation.
The Princess in the Dumpster
Dropped, mom got introduced and she's annoying. Had a strong beginning but it was getting boring anyway.
The Young Lady is A Royal Chef
It's looking to be very good. We just got our first look at who I believe to be the ML(yeah I was right on the money and he's hot) but regardless I've had plenty of fun just seeing how the plot plays out. It's nice that the first arc wasn't dragged out for no reason, and I'm excited to see the family grow closer.
The Story of the Hated Mule
I'm curious, but since the series mostly consists of mysteries I can't think of anything to comment on until there's more chapters.
Priscilla's Marriage Request
It's damn good, but as always has some flaws. The romance didn't exactly get a lot of development but makes sense within the context of the story and is cute enough. The FL going around fixing shit without becoming a mary sue is nice, since who wants to watch a useless main character? I can also appreciate that they don't drag every bit of the story out for ages. One of the downsides is that the characters don't get much development, and having 3 characters this early on screaming girl power makes it feel like I'm being indoctrinated. The FL is fine but are the other two really necessary? I'm not a little kid that needs a moral to the story...
Don't Leave After School
I showed up for the angst, stayed for the drama, and gave it 5 stars for everything else, which isn't the previous two. I only recently started trying chinese webtoons since the ones I tried before weren't very good and I don't regret that decision now. The characters are lovable, the romance adorable, and the comedy golden. I can't praise this enough because of the massive redemption arc it went through in my head. The ending was a little abrupt, but everything was resolved perfectly and I was consistently engaged throughout, which is more than I can say for even many of my favourites. This is one of those cases where I'd like more while at the same time not asking for it since I'm satisfied with the ending. Some extras would be nice though just so I can savour more of Kian's genius/idiocy, as well as their cuteness in general.
Body Electric
I've got but one problem: I can not for the life of me figure out if they're dating or not. They sure act like it, despite there never being something I could classify as a proper confession. My guess is censorship doesn't allow them to say it directly so we just glossed over wherever that was and we're meant to read between the lines a little. They are adorable together though.
