The Duchess with an Empty Soul
To be honest, the scanlator drama and reveal of her fiance being gay were just as good as the actual plot. I like the protagonist not being useless. There isn't really enough relationship development for me to say much about the romance. In this case you either like the story or you give up, because there's nothing else that could carry the series. EDIT: most of this is moot by now, they're dating now and it's pretty cute. They've gone down the same path as most other stories and started bringing up prejudice against women. Call me sexist but I've seen this same thing play out so many times I just want to move on. I'm not here for a moral lesson on how bad x group had it in y time.
Bloody Sweet
It's so good I bought the physical books.
La Dolce Vita di Adelaide
If I'm being honest, the way they handled the romance could have been better. There's also the weird page layout and mc being reincarnated that was hardly even mentioned after the start. Overall the whole mind game/betrayal thing was the best part. The characters have a reverse of the problem that plagues shoujo, the FL is the one that gets all the personality while ML is just a surface level shy guy. The ending kinda sucked but I'd say it's down to personal preference if you like it or not.
As You Wish, Prince
Nothing is perfect, but this one comes pretty damn close. I skipped this one multiple times before finally giving it a chance and I was pleasantly surprised. EDIT: This is so fucking good I can't believe it's over, I'm not ready to cope with the loss yet!
A World Ruled by Cats
3 stars is on the low side but I couldn't confidently give it 4. It starts off great, with most issues stemming from pacing. Certain parts feel rushed and imo most characters are unlikable. I think the direction they took the plot in was good though. Generally the art is great, there's just a few moments where it's a bit wonky.
Sica Wolf Webtoon
Boy oh boy did I enjoy this one. Every time I thought there was a plothole, it got adressed later and in hindsight made perfect sense. Karsus appearing shirtless every 10 chapters or so was very welcome. They got together within a reasonable timeframe. The art is lovely. Not to say that I didn't have any problems with the series but overall it was a very positive experience and by the end I found myself grinning from ear to ear. EDIT: I didn't mention it before I believe to avoid spoilers but this is something that should be brought up so I'll be vague about it. Basically, somewhere really late in the series (like ch70??) Karsus randomly pulls a 180 and acts super concerning and then Sica's like "Jokes on you I'm in to that shit" and after that they go back to normal as if nothing happened. I had a real wtf bro moment when I first saw it and I'll never forget how it felt to have the wholesome fluffy atmosphere around them destroyed in an instant.
Starlight Scandal
I expected copper, and found gold. Seriously, it was so easy for them to fuck this up and yet it's so good I couldn't stop reading. At every turn I was going "Now I'm gonna drop this" and without fail I would be pleasantly surprised. At the start I thought the characters looked a little derpy but either I've grown used to it or the art improved because I never noticed it after around chapter 4. EDIT: Them actually dating feels weird now that it's happened, and I desperately hope this won't turn in to yaoi like most good series...
Terror Man
My dumb ass forgot to rate this lol. Anyway now I've got a gas mask fetish to go with my thing for suits. EDIT: Season 2 doesn't seem to be much good though. EDIT 2: Seems I used to have a thing for not directly saying I'm dropping something.
