Not loving MC's abilities but the personality is interesting. Not quite full on altruist but still weirdly forgiving and willing to help. The tower itself is pretty cool even though I generally prefer gates, in this one each floor has a different objective and the whole group is stuck in it together. EDIT: It got good for a short while but then they had to introduce the murderer woman and ruin it. She plans to kill everybody but then has all the generic FL traits/scenes it's giving tonal whiplash and MC is stupid for not killing her right away. Dropped.

Not much to say. It's good but not sure if it's going to be great just yet.

Why'd they make the evil vamp bro so hot? Loving the sargeant in the latest chapter he has no shits to give. MC is a little on the lower end of the power scale and there isn't that much power progression so it's more of a strategy/equipment collector type. Military aspect is interesting although I tend to forget they're all meant to be awakened because nobody except MC ever uses powers except for the one floating old guy and healer girl.

Forgot to rate but it was great. I hope it comes back eventually. MC is really fun and the side characters (villains included) interesting. Don't really remember the overall plot tbh. The art is good too. EDIT:The plot twist with Plants hit me like a truck omg I'm crying.

I kinda hate all the other characters so 4*. The kid was fine but he ended up spending a bunch of coin on her and bringing a kid around to gates on purpose is sort of inappropriate?? Especially with the sudden adoption. The other guy doesn't do shit but still got fame instead of MC as if he beat the boss in the tutorial. He doesn't really try that hard to say otherwise but ig he made an attempt and they didn't believe him in the interview. The sister tsundere is low-key annoying. And then the other girl is the bane of my existence. Being the best at PvP isn't really a good look when clearing gates has people's lives on the line, just makes it look like you're a selfish prick. Other than that she constantly suspects MC for no reason like "how did he know the rabbits running away from us are scared? Sus." She acts like she doesn't even know what a gate is and nobody else should even though she clearly does, an all around weirdo.

Meh. It feels like barely anything has happened so far. The girl he meets at the academy is so annoying, she's useless but got a massive ego. She rides on his coattails too His goal isn't that interesting either. I'm kinda hoping the magic saves this but he's not really the type to show his abilities or put people in their place.

I only read the first volume but I just had to come here and say it's really gay. I'm telling u this is ship material I smell the BL baiting from a mile away. Had to check the tags and still they'd better make it canon. Gotta love the last page of volume 1 providing some fanservice of my man Sho. I'm surprised this was published under shounen since those usually don't try to cater to a female audience much and this got 0 panty shots just hot and cute men doing cool things and being a little homo along the way. Art is really good I love it.

I read this years ago and forgot so I never got to rating. All I know is I thought the comedy was excellent. The romance is so minimal I'm not sure it deserves to get tagged but it was a little cute ig.

Really good. They executed the plot twist so well I considered it then wrote it off, only for it to be real and still make sense. Interesting conflicts and creative fights. MC looks to have a good bit of depth. Amazing art too. If I had one gripe it'd be that the women are weirdly perverted? It's not too bad most of the time just kinda weird/creepy.

MC is trying to give Loyd a run for his money with those faces. The comedy is pretty good, story is not bad. The fights in more recent chapters haven't impressed me though. It's easy to forget he's supposed to be strong when every single enemy he's like "omg this person is so powerful I can't beat them yet I will have to use my final ass pull".
