Leave Your Marks on My Back

Ongoing | Nishimoto rou | 2022 released

I didn't read this properly just skimmed through and the art is licious but the story is probably not my type of story. But it seems to be intriguing and emotional so I hope when I'm more mature I'll read this again properly

The Tosa's Master

Complete | Evy | 2022 released

Toxic and dark as hell but also I felt like it was a bit dumb? But yeah small actions can lead to another's endangerment so wether it was intended or not uke really ruined someone. Spoiler. I felt like uke was pitiful because he only wanted love but ended up being Stockholm with someone he didn't know he ruined and now they are stuck together in this cage they had built. Story:: Uke sleeps around as he finds pleasure in ppl loving him, what he truly wants is love. He then noticed seme who is rich and seemed to be interested on him. One night, he was approached by seme and that's when the two decided to sleep together. When uke is at seme's house, he finds a photo of himself in a room and was scared. Seme catches him and locks him behind a huge cage. Where he assaults uke. Backstory, seme was in love with uke and uke still sleeps around. When uke was blatantly told by the senpai he likes that he was just a play toy, he got so mad he ended up venting on seme who was trying to help him. So uke locked him up on a school dog cage where seme was bitten badly on the arm, causing a scar to the seme's body. Seme obsessed with uke because of the eternal scar and trauma, decided to face him years later where we return to the current timeline. He basically built a cage that locked two of them. Yes, they fell for each other. Uke got stockholm syndrome and seme is batshit crazy.

Bad Friend

Complete | Hkmi | 2019 released

I love this manhwa. It's such a treasure to find in the Korean bl manhwas. It is rivals to friends to lovers type and they do it so well. No toxicity just friends turning into lovers that's just so sweet as it should. The I would die for you and the I live for you trope is used well, especially looking at how their relationship grew as they spent 10 yrs with each other, it's goodd!!! Waiting for the side stories! Spoiler story summary: Haon met Gon when they were young, his father had brought him and made him stay in their academy. The two spent each other as enemies then rivals and then friends that truly trust each other, soon their relationship started to change with they lent a helping hand (ahem ahem sexually) to each other. The two started to fall for each other. Gob was keeping a secret and was planning to leave secretly but he had stayed for a bit for Haon. Everything was okay until one day the academy was attacked and Haon saved Gon which led him to fall on a cliff and stuck on this cave. Gob thought Haon died. Haon was forced to learn the teaching of a master before able to leave the cave so he spent the next ten years stuck, until he mastered and left. He then joined the high lord of murim to avenge on his family. The alleged culprit of the murder was the cult and he fughted against them when he met the well known leader which was Gon. That's when the two reunited and had a talk again after their pretend fight. The two's relationship ended with helping each other as their romance takes on another level. Gon feels happy and grateful for Haon's survival and the two found a new will to live for each other. The truth behind the massacre was that the high lord was the one who orchestrated it and the cult was framed causing the war. Gon wanted revenge for that and also for his mother. The fact was that Gon was the high lord's son and the high lord murdered his mother causing Gon to feel and met Haon's father. After having many ppl on their side, they finally succeeded in exposing the high lord and Gon kills him, finding liberation. The two then decided to travel and live together. Really really love their relationship, very natural and very heart warming. They really feel like friends to lovers. Reminds me of danmei. Even though the sub plot of murim genre didn't reach the level of danmei's with how detailed and complex they are, this manhwa still did a good job entertaining me. The huge catch us the main couple so I say it's worth it.

Yoku Ikemashita Tankee kun

Ongoing | Nanase oume | 2019 released

Skimmed but honestly I cracked because the story is weird lol, I find the sad toned scenes hilariously. It was just smut-driven, the author really made this manga with the mind how can I make every panel have some sx. Just blank mind. The age gap is throwing me off as well, they met when they were kids, but the seme was clearly about elementary while the uke was in preschool which is weird idk if it was just uke I would understand but the seme fell first for like a baby haha

Divorce Me, Mr. Alpha

Complete | Runa konjiki | 2019 released

Quite cute, not bad story. Ending is a bit too rushed. Spoiler: I felt like some plots were just used for drama and not for seriousness cuz uke turned to omega from beta, they mated and then uke wanted divorce (he feels like his an obstacle to seme) so he rid of their mark but then they marked each other again after it's gone cuz finally seme tells straight that he actually feel the same way(it's kinda pretty stupid that uke didn't notice). And when they got lovey dovey uke gets this problem of turning into beta again which worried him that he won't be able to give seme children yet at the end it seems like that didn't happen and they had three children it stressed them so much for nothing cuz it's false alarm apparently loool

Not bad. Kinda liked the ending and the seme's character development. There were still some backwards thinking here and there but I'm hoping they improve. . . . Spoiler Hope uke learns that being treated kindly and softly shouldn't only be applied to women, and the men should be treated roughly is also a backward way of thinking. Seme who is misogynistic and had internal homophobia should also try to improve more but he certainly did improve slightly from his misogyny, like learning to cook and show emotions which he used to refer as 'only woman should'. He learned to express more. Also as others said, the uke agreeing to do sneaky links with a man who was a wife is honestly weird for his character, as a man who was straightforward and isn't discriminatory, he should've known better than to go along with a cheating man. I feel like he also has misogynistic views that's why he could. Story Spoiler: Uke was classmates with seme in highschool, the two bonded in a special way and had kissed multiple times. However, seme's internal homophobia made him reject uke. Years later, the two ended up being coworkers and at some point, their attraction to each other made them tangle on the sheets. Uke expecting seme to finally go out with him, seme started pushing him away again due to his internal homophobia. Uke's ex starts to get in the story (he's a married man ) and had helped seme to make a move. The ex and uke realized that they had truly moved on from each other. Then seme finally admits his love for uke. And against his internal homophobia, he decided to start changing. And so the two started dating each other.
